<DIV>Im sure you can buy Woven Cordovan armour from the Armourer in WIllow Wood. Although I wouldn't recommend buying it at all. There are oodles of lower level armour that can be bought through the Broker and Black Market that are of equal cost, if not cheaper and have additional stats to help your character. Thats a mistake I made early on with my Ranger, having bought the whole woven cordovan outfit from the Armourer, it looked nice but apart from armour class wasn't helping at all.</DIV>

<DIV>i had cordovan armor from 10 or so up until i got the AQ pieces.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i bought them from the armor chick in WW. go in its on the right. the pieces are good, if you dont want to spend all day buying parts that are cool, then u put em on, and u look like a joke.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>if u find better, great, but it doesnt matter, i had no probs. by this lvl a lot of ppl dont really understand stats, and how important to armor they are...the boost in AC is good enough while they learn...and cordovan looks WAY better than the woven IMO.</DIV>

<DIV>I agree with Rolarin. I would add something about the Armor Quest, though. If you don't plan on replacing your cordovan with carbonite you have to commit to getting the AQ1-6 armor as quickly as possible. Because the Cordovan is going to be seriously letting you down at lvl 20+. The game 'knows' you should/could be in medium armor and will be taking it to you for it. If you are not going to pursue AQ gear immediately, then I highly recomend the crafted carbonite armor pieces. Especially the shoulder and pants versions since AQ 3 and 4 can take awhile. Also, I don't think there is a Armor Quest for a helm so get a good helm as soon as possible.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>some Tips:</DIV> <DIV>  Armor is typically broken up like the folowing:</DIV> <DIV>NPC bought <= regular loot < crafted < quested <= uber loot/quested</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>  Armor has effective level ranges</DIV> <DIV>bought/reg loot - every ten levels from what I've seen</DIV> <DIV>  typical: 20-30</DIV> <DIV>crafted - every ten levels with the quality dictating the start and stop level</DIV> <DIV>  crude: 14 - 24</DIV> <DIV>  shaped: 16 - 26</DIV> <DIV>  normal: 18-28</DIV> <DIV>  pristine: 20-30</DIV> <DIV>quested - varies, usually 4 to 8 levels</DIV> <DIV>  typical 20-26</DIV> <DIV>uber loot/quested - varies, usually 4 to 8 levels</DIV> <DIV>  typical 20-24</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So if I generally hit the broker every even level if I can afford it. Things to bear in mind, the sweeter the item, the shorter the effective level range. That is just a rule of thumb but seems to be generally true.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Personally, if I could, I would always buy a complete set of pristine crafted armor at the appropriate tier. Donning this set of armor, I would then swap in different pieces of quest armor as appropriate. However, I would not sell the piece it replaced. That piece is good for the entire tier but the replacement piece may only be valid for 4 levels of greatness.</DIV>

<DIV>oh, i agree on the carbonite if u arent going hard core into ur AQs right at 20</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i had a pristine carbonite chain coat till i could finish (and wear) my AQ6 tunic.</DIV>
