thanks for the info, i just finished the gauntlets quest, not looking forward to killing grolven chiptooth, he is one bad mofo.on another note, what kind of weapons are you using vyspel? i did the willow wood quest and chose the slasher, but am still using an iron dagger in my other hand, are there any quests youve found with decent weapon or accesory rewards?

thanks for the tip on the carbonite merchant, i had picked up a steel short spear, but those things sound amazing.also if it isnt to much trouble could you post a screenshot or 2 of yourself in the trade link gear? something in your eq2players page would be great, and is pretty easy to upload. Supposedly you can spawn the Sabretooth Tormentors by camping Rune Caster mobs over by Blackburrow. I haven't yet done this... so it isn't personally verified.

<DIV>Outside of Blackburrow to the left and to the right there are 2 different gnoll camps, each centered around their tents. Each camp has 3 to 4 different spawnpoints for groups of runecasters and battlers. You have to clear each spawn point at the camps when it pops, everytime you clear about 3 spawns you have a chance of spawning the quest mobs which come as 2x tormentors and 2x elders. The elders are healers so dispatch them first and then proceed to kill the tormentors. My suggestion is to find a nice safe area there to pull each spawn to, I strongly adivse this because of the wandering gnoll named Grolven Chiptooth. If you are not ready and do not have a good tank and healer, Grolven will make quick work of you. He drops no loot and is only for part 2 of the armor quest.</DIV>

<DIV>"Bonechipper" is dropped in the Dead river Basin.  It's random and can drop off any of the undead mobs in that area.  I hadnt even realized it dropped till I checked my quest and saw I only had to kill looters.  Some people get it after killing a few, and others have to kill...well alot before recieving it.  AQ5 can be completed, with regards to the Gnoll Looters, by hunting in the Dead River.</DIV>
