<DIV>Hello all,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm currently trying to prepare myself for raiding soon. But was curious  if any of our debuffs will take affect on raids? If so which would you use to be the most effective?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Deaftones</DIV>

I'm a lvl 47 Dirge at the moment and have attended many high end raids and really have had no issues with debuffs not landing on the high end mobs (Angler, King in Zarvon's Tower, Eyeballs in Feerrott) at all yet. The primary debuff I concern myself with during a raid is Clara's due to the fact that generally on raids you have a lot of DPS and lowering the encounters AC vs physical certainly helps a ton.

<DIV>Depends on the type of mob honestly.  I mean your PR/DR buff aint gonna do jack against a cold mob <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Claras.  Claras is huge.  Then like harls, lucky break/haste if you feel like it, Mana song for the healers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Honestly, our slow and str debuff seems to amount to jack in raids.  However, the dirges and troubs I worked with, we worked out a "You do this one, I do this one, bob does this one" sorta deal with the debuffs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sad tho, I have a harder time landing claras on some stuff in CT than I do on raid mobs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Honestly, work on some resist equip so you can survive AEs.</DIV>

<DIV>For raids cast Claras and then try to stay out of the way of the people that are actually doing stuff, like dps. </DIV>

You guys are having probs with DPS on raids? Why?Normally, I don't parse our raid fights but the other night while doing Angler the guild asked for a parse of everyone mainly so we could see how much HP Angler has.Only 2 people had higher DPS than me at the end of the fight(about 15 people total).1)Assasin2)Wizard3)ME4)rest on downI was surprised myself as I stayed full mana the entire fight and interrupted melee a few times for song refreshes. I really only used 2 attacks the entire fight. I just kept afflicted blade and gutteral shriek constantly on the mob so I wouldn't over aggro.I don't find my DPS to be trivial in the least bit. What are you guys doing that's making you feel like junk on raids?
