Being a relatively new troub, and not a min/maxer type....I was just wondering if Troubs and their Quiron's song (and associated AA) are affected by this same issue.http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=testfeed&message.id=70442For those that don't want to link, here is the qouted first post:

I posted a question in Berserker class discussion about in combat health regeneration caps and if there is one.

After searching through the forums I believe I found a post that stated it is your lvl x 3 for health regen cap.

Is this true and can a forum admin please confirm this from a dev person?

If so that makes the Preserverance line for Berserker pretty lame. 100 per tick under 30% health is the last AA in the Berserker tree. The problem with this if the above is true is that this is easily attainable with the AA starting at lvl10 at mid20s to mid30s. With our static buffs of regen and our proc line of regen. We are basically nerfed at lvl x3? As little as people actually use in combat health regen why can't this be lifted? Otherwise it makes the last AA in Preserverence line basically worthless for a very long time. 20s x 3 =60 - low 80s.

Blood Rage + Screaming Rage + Level Attribute of +5 in combat health regen + any items + any AA in Preserverance before the last one = 60-low80s

This basically makes the last AA worth less and with upgrades and lvling it will still be an issue because the Blood Rage and Screaming Rage upgrades will have upgrades to regen as well and we get to pick another regen I believe for lvling in the future.

So my question. Is there an in combat health regeneration recap. If so, why? My counter argument is the last AA in the Perserverance Berserker Tree line is 100 per tick under 30 and that alone should lift this cap or this ability should be made into something else as the way it stands it is useless.

A better idea for the last AA would be a reactive heal that has a % to proc on opposite correlation to health. In other words if your 75% it has a 25% chance and at 1% it has a 99% chance...would go along with the whole Preserverance theme.

Thanks in advance.

That is actually the biggest inherent problem with Quiron's, the other being that health regen doesn't really do all of squat in terms of effective healing. Perseverance is an extreme weak ultimate for berserkers simply because the regen cap exists and can be all but disregarded. The Quiron AA is currently a waste due to the regen cap and may be considered the worst AA from all the EoF AAs. If the regen cap was completely removed, I imagine there will be people who will probably load up on as much +regen as possible with their tanks, then stack together as much +regen from group buffs as they can and come back with some fairly respectable numbers. If you'd like to avoid the Quiron AA, you can move to the side and pick up charm and mez in calming if you'd like the additional utility (and can spare the points) or just put three in Quiron's. That'll get you cap while getting you two fairly useful calming abilities. If you're going for the Resonance ability, put the points into the arcane ward because the arcane ward eats power drains (mmm).
