<div></div>I have some problems with Jesters as well and I am also playing on the German server Valor. I've got the Master I version of Jesters and five AA skill points<span> </span>so that there should be a recast reduction of 50%. <span></span>The strange thing is: The spell description says, there is a reduction of 40% but in fact it is only 30%. I have tested it with Bladedance, which has a recast of ten minutes. After Jesters it still has a recast time<span> </span>of seven minutes. These aren't neither the 50% which it should be, nore the indicated 40%<span></span> - it's only 30%. The other strange thing: The five AA points at Jesters make a shorter recast of 25 instead of 30 seconds. <P>I can't really address the differences between the different values for differing spell qualities, but keep in mind the the % reduction displayed is unfortunately not intuitively linked to the actual value.   </P> <P>The way recast reductions / melee haste / etc  work is </P> <P>(New Value) = [ (Original Value)  /  ( 1 + X&nbsp<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ]</P> <P>where X is the total modification value in decimal format.</P> <P>Thus a 50% recast reduction  is actually 2/3 of the original recast instead of the intuitive 1/2.  Unfortunately, the lack of intuitive understanding opens a door for confusion in my opinion as a 50% positive benefit displayed is not correlated to a 50% negative penalty from a design point of view - a 50% positive yields 2/3rds the casting time while a 50% negative yields 2x the casting time. </P><p>Message Edited by Liren on <span class=date_text>01-03-2007</span> <span class=time_text>03:38 PM</span>

I was also gonna say you may have forgotten/put 5 points into the Jester's AA and then examined the adept 1. Nevermind then =P<div></div>
