Just starting out, wondering if there are Troubs that dont like being a Bard class and if you could change your class what would you be.

i'd never change or delete my troub. i've come a long a way with this single character since eq2 release 2 years ago. but playing the troub got boring, at least in raids. my first step has been to quit my guild, not an easy step at all. the second step is to roll a healer (most certainly a warden) with eof release. i really hope eq2 will become fun again.that's right SOE, you ruined your game for me by complete lack of taking care of the troub class.

I'm constantly hoping our other troubs get more playtime so I can roll with my brigand instead, that way I'd feel like I had an active purpose again.

My trouby main is logged only for raids at the moment. And i am building a hefty amount of Dkp as i don't see why i should take loots from other members who will benefit more from them. For fun i have a bruiser and a fury. And scouting with the bruiser is great :smileywink: If the guild had less enchanters i would be on the illu instead on raids. So yes, the fun factor of my troub is quite low. RUN SPEED !! FIX STEALTH !!

Like Thorvang, I could never delete my troub. I've put far too much time and effort into her over the past two years. But the boredom of the class is killing my enjoyment of the game as a whole. I've played very little comparatively over the last month or so. I too am hoping desperately that EoF will rekindle my love of the game when I roll a new character and start all over again... :smileyindifferent:

Thinking of a healer (maybe a warden). At least I know I'll then have something to do while playing.

I am absolutely loving my troubador and the fact that I'm a troll makes it even that much more fun. I can certainly see where people might get bored but my mains are currently a 70 monk and a 70 templar...both of who I'm retiring once this troubador is 70. The monk just isn't fun for me and my guild has MORE than enough healers. I imagine all classes get boring unless you are lucky enough to stumble across the class that fits you perfectly and that you enjoy even though it may be boring.

Wizard for instance is my all time favorite but some people would quickly say they are boring...ohhh, two or three big bang spells and a few others. I think this troubador will remain my main until EQ2 goes away

After seeing my new paper armor in use, and since devs apparently think avoidance will weigh up for it, I feel more and more like parking my toon and quitting the game for good.

Lol, don't get me wrong, this is a valid question, but did you post it in every class, or just the bards.

Did you really make one or are your doing some kind of research?
