EoF changes?

I have been holding off making a bard for a long time now to see where things may go.  Even more specifically, I've been holding off making a troub as the general concensus seems to believe dirges are better in almost every regard.   I imagine this has been talked about in length already, but does the new expansion offer anything useful to bards or troubs specifically other than the lackluster AA line?  Will troubs and dirges at least become balanced?  Is there any reason for me to believe creating a bard (a troub) will be better then than it is now??Thanks <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

I have no belief they will ever even attempt to fix or balance bards and troubs.Roll something else and have fun is my advice.

It's pretty depressing when you've got a class like ours screaming for help and SOE's response?Give wizards ports and manaburn. <span>:smileysad:</span>Even something simple like upgrading Selo's is apparently too game breaking but instant ports are just fine<div></div>

Ya know and I don't think bards are asking to do the kind of damage that the other scouts are doing.  And troubs are especially angry that they are so unbalanced with dirges (unless this changed with the last combat changed, not sure).  I think if they just increased some song potency and increased the damage a little everyone would be happy.  We aren't talking earth shattering changes, ya know?<div></div>

Too give you a bit of an idea how bad it is, we had an almost 2 month old post still on the front page. People don't play troubs, or flat out just don't bother giving their opinions any more.

Well I didn't mean to rant...  but are there any changes coming at all for EoF/LU29?  Troubs have basically fallen off the face of the earth.  I see very few dirges too, anymore.  My main was a Bard in EQ1....  I didn't play a bard in EQ2 just to try something new.  But now that I want to go back... what's the point.  <span>:smileysad:</span><div></div>
