<DIV>Our class is highly dependant on STR and INT for our ability to do decent damage.  STA and AGI are also factors we should consider somewhat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With the new changes coming to stat caps (to 1020 with diminishing returns after 510) what stat would you focus on the most? Would you try to balance some and sacrifice another? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Figured this is a good time to discuss such things :smileywink:</DIV>

<DIV>personaly ill focus on stats in this order</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>INT , Str , agi , wis, sta</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>stamina i put last because there are a LOT of classes that boost hp and sta  and it generaly only helps with hp </DIV>

Since I don't pvp, and power pool being broken the way it is, if you're capped for int, you can skip on agi entirely more or less. Str/Int/Sta is good, keeps you alive and doing dmg.

Oh, I wasn't laughing at terminology, I was laughing at getting massive agitilty for avoidance.  In the current combat system, a troubador with high avoidance really mean they will avoid [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn].  I can see your logic on wanting higher avoidance for PvP, since brawlers are all about avoidance I would assume.  But the only reason why they actaully avoid so much is they have an extra avoidance skill, deflect.  <div></div>

<DIV>Let me preface these questions with this:  I know that Troubadours are not meant to be dps moguls.  But I would like to maximize the damage that I can do.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It seems that STR & INT both help with damage that a Troub can do, STR for Melee and INT for the spell damage.  Is this correct?  and if so, what stat is the most useful in Raids? Should the Troub stay at max range during most battles or get in close?  Is that just Preference? </DIV><p>Message Edited by biffwis on <span class=date_text>01-20-2007</span> <span class=time_text>12:27 AM</span>

Str and Int both, get as high as possible, and if you don't feel like doing dps, by all means hang back. Get stuck in, them weapons ain't just for show.

Yup, STR and INT if you want to be a "damage dealer troub".Got a fury in my group last time in Deathtoll, had STR at around 490 and INT at 620 (yeah I know the cap is 520), and managed to do roughly 600-700 dps on average, which isn't too bad for a Troubadour I think. Seen worse at least. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
