I love the look of duel wield even though I don't think it is as good as a single handed and some say that procs aren't working correctly. /shrug I am about to hit level 20 on my Bard and picking Troub so I need to have my Weaponsmith make me a nice Steel Duel wield setup. Right now I'm using Blackened Iron Leafblade and a Spear. My Bard is a Ratonga and I'd like to have a good looking swash buckling duel wielding kick but looking mouse! I asked my weaponsmith to make me 2 Steel Leafblades but she said that she doesn't see a recipe for it so I need to pick something else. So I went to http://www.eq2craft.com/ but it didn't give much info on which weapons were duel wield. My main is a 70/70 Wizard and my second is a Templar so I don't know much about mele stuff but I do know my duel wielding ratonga is tons of fun and likes to play music! So I thought I would come here and ask the pros! What is a good looking duel wield weapon setup to use?

Get the slowest weapons you can. Slow weapons hit harder but less often, but we cast spells so often that they'll be better for us that faster hitting ones.

That would be a one hander. But anyway, I need to know the name of the weapon to tell my weaponsmith what to make. It's got to be duel wield.

If you're just going for looks grab 2 leafblades. They look pretty cool, and they're also slow.

Doh, did you guys read my post She needs to know the name of the weapon. She don't know much about crafting. And like I said, she said she has no recipes for a rare Steel Leafblade but I see on EQ2Craft that it is there"Steel Leafblade (Level 2." So I am gonna get that I think unless someone else has better reccommendations.[EDIT] She is missing a recipe book which has the lvl 28 Leafblade in it. Shes checking on it right now. Always thought that weaponsmithing was wierd the way the books and recipes are.
Message Edited by Littles on 08-28-2006 09:09 PM
