True Bard?

Been playing EQ orig for like ever since 2000 at least... now im moving up to bigger better gaming(i hope<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) so yeah you got me my only bard was level 7 on fir vie(RP server) yeah yeah but now it interests me and im looking to find the closest think to a bard in EQ2 ...... Ive heard through the grape vine Swashbucklers and Troubadors are the closest thing but which is the best at not anything but at all around .......... so not just meaning grouping raids or solo but all 3 and then some..... Well, technically a troubador is a bard class, where as a swashy is (i believe) a rogue.. Not sure about swashys, only played mine till lvl 17 or so, But i got a lvl 70 troub, and they've been known alot as "good at everything, but masters of none" type of things..  I would guess troubs are more diiverse, but atm theres alot of ppl that arent to happy with troubs since the last Live Update (me on the other hand, I like my troub even more now)... <div></div>

Well if ya just want an RP server, yeah I guess ANtonia bayle is probably a good choice. If you want pvp, I prefer nagafen,, <div></div>

<DIV>Swashbucklers are rogues, not bards. They do high DPS with limited buffs for the group. The only thing similar to a bard that they get is a mez. Troubadors, however, are bards. They do moderate DPS while adding many buffs for the group. If you want the "true bard", you should go with a troubador.</DIV>
