<DIV>Right now this zone pretty much is pure random when it comes to mobs aggroing trough walls/floors/ceilings. Pre-LU24 I would be able to lock down such adds in time. Right now its 1 mez, and if I'm lucky I can hold two. Not much help when you get a second encounter trough a floor.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I guess we should be glad we can fill the CC-role in this zone as long as nothing adds and the pulls are clean...</DIV>

I did just fine mezzing in there, actually. I'm not huge on our mez nerf, but it isn't that bad.<div></div>

Like or hate this mezz change, I won't even call it a nerf, we are not a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing enchanter - I don't see what there is to whine about.<div></div>

they cut our only mez we have in half. ya we are not an enchanter, which is why we dont have 7 mezzes including group mezzes and emergency mezzes. and stuns and stuff like that. just one <div></div>

It's a double whammy effect. Before I could mes, charm, mes. Now I mes, charm (IF 45 seconds past from the last one, and BTW they raised the resistability, I think adept 1 is 16% easier)... wait. If someone/something breaks my mes (not all groups are perfect guidl grousp taht have been together for 3 years), now I have to wait those painful 15 seconds. </P> <P>I'm sure lots of meatheads will chime in with a comment like "you shouldn't pull that much", or "you should die". Sorry, we don't all start each expansion pack knowing the optimum pulling routine. We don't know where all the roamers are. Crowd Control classes have a role in softening the learning experience of a new dungeon/zone. Having an enchanter/troubadour gave a group the ability to just throw themselves into a room and actually play the dungeon as it meant to be played... not going through this archaic 1st generation 1997 "wait for the roamers to pass, body pull only" mentality. </P> <P>Now the only thing I do in PvE is make sure I hit my Dancing Blade hotkey every 10 seconds. I could macro that if I didn't have to position myself.</P>

We can't be called dps, healing, tank, and not utility either if they keep reducing the effectiveness of our buffs...</P> <P>The only reason I play a troubador anymore is because I can cast a few spells on the run for pvp. My lvl 70 toon is no fun to play anymore.</P>

I was always under the impression that our class defining ability was our hate reduction song, not our mezz. I suppose for grouping the change sucks - but when it comes to raiding, sure I mezzed, but was it really necessary with chanters?<div></div>

<DIV>Who the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] is talking about raids? Our mez is good enough for locking down single adds, or to lock down a mob inside the encounter to lessen the load to tank/heals. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And power to those that havent gotten a bugged Nizara. Both my trips so far been favoured with bugs. When you get all the bathers/watchers from the lowest point in the zone all the way up to the highest point of the dungeon (you know where you look down at dragon head), something is wrong. Thats why you need a chanter. And any group not bringing that chanter rely purely on luck. And some of you've had that luck. I just know that with the old mez I could have managed most of those situation in favour of my group. Now I can't and that knowledge is adding to the insult.</DIV>

<div></div>There was only 1 named in their I had trouble locking down, the one at the top of the 3 way that summons that evil pet that likes to taunt everyone. All the rest, I locked down just fine with time to DPS in between.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Cyneric on <span class=date_text>06-20-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:17 PM</span>

This isn't really a Troubador issue, more of a "buggy content released before it was ready" issue.
