<DIV>I am a 45 troubador, and i realized something yesterday. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Never before in my leveling experience have i used charm in a group to enhance our ability to defeate mobs. but yesterday i was trio-ing me a bruiser and an inq. we were hunting glacial constructs (44 ^^^) in everfrost for a glove quest for the bruiser. we got an add, i dropped a buff and charmed it. the charm broke but lasted long enogh for us to finish off the first one and survive. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>that situation happened several more times through out the day with this same group. we got ^^^ adds (eventually i just left the one buff off) and i charmed them and lots of times had to evac. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the bottom line is i would have loved to have a <STRONG>CHANTER </STRONG>in the group because they mez so well and i mez so poorly.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>our mez/charm are ghetto at best. i just discovered what i can do and how usefull it can be in situations, please dont kill it. </DIV>

Congrats! This is exactly why so many of us chose to be Troubadors! We're a powerful class that, in a pinch, can help our party by doing some crowd control as well as buffing up the entire party.You'll love the mez you get at 50. Once you show your group what a troub can do, they'll be amazed. Bards, and troubs especially, give up dps so we can be one of the most versatile utility classes in the game, much like our cousins in EQ1.Grats again!PS.
