Newb question about canceling songs

<DIV>How I cancel my buffs.  I tried to cancel the icons but it only canceled the icon and didn't free up a concentration slot.  I had to eventually cancel the individual concentration button to free up a slot there.  THis seems extremely tedius.  I also was unable to click the song hot bar button and stop it.  How do you cancel buffs?  I looked on the site but couldn't find any recent threads about this. <P>You should have two windows for buffs.</P> <P>One is Spell Effects (ALT-S to toggle) - This shows all effects on your character from self-buffs, group buffs, and detrimental spells from mobs, etc.  If you were to cancel a buff here (i.e Hate reduction) your group will still benefit from it however you will not.  This is a goodd strategy for the Tanking troub by the way.</P> <P>The other window is Maintained Buffs (ALT-M to toggle) - This shows buffs that you are responsible for.  All group buffs and self buffs also appear here so it can be confusing.  Your debuffs and charm and mez will also appear here.  This is what you need to cancel to free up concentration.</P> <P> </P> <P>Hope this helps.  Happy Hunting!</P>
