Newbie Troub Charm Confusion

<DIV>I'm trying to find a new toon to play...bored with my SK (and tanks in general)...rolled a Brig and I like the scout, but I want more diversity....which brings me to Troub or Dirge...</DIV> <DIV>I noticed that Troub's have a charm, I did a search and see that the description of the of the spell says the charmed mob will only stop or follow the Troub...but I also see that some are using it similar to a coercer's charmed pet (ie, having it attack)...</DIV> <DIV>So, my question is...How does the Troub Charm work?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Will the charmed mob attack what you are attacking?  Or does it just stand there like an SK / Pally's Squire?  </DIV> <DIV>Anything you can throw out there to clear this up for me would me much appreciated!</DIV>

troub charm sets the pet into "protect me/self". so it will attack if you or itself takes damage. you can command it to stay or follow and switch of the protect flags, but you can't command it to attack.sidenote: charm has a chance to break when the pet takes damage.

I swear, I curse every class I try.   SKs I post about pets, the duration is shortened...Bruisers I post about Thundering Fists, it gets nerfed... Now, I post about Troub pets...and, well... Sorry <div></div>
