Been playing a troub to near level 30 and I'm finding it challenging and fun. I've had to solo a fair amount simply because there isn't an abundance of grouping down in T3.Seen a few posts about using shields. Should I be looking to grab him a decent shield and one-hander for T4 when having to solo or is it only useful with a particular aa path? What's the deal with using shields?
Message Edited by Uanelven on 05-03-2006 07:31 AM

I did not start using a shield till I hit 50, but wished I had started earlier. (This was pre AA btw)
The added defense is very helpfull and far outweighs the minor loss in dps, since most of our dps comes from our songs.
Add to that the additional functionality from the aa's and it is very worth it to me at least.

since we cast a lot it seems to help quite a bit . may be kind of illusion , but to me it seems very helpful to have a shield .
