For groups/raids which is more desireable? Troub or DIrge?

I'm really not sure whether to roll a Dirge or Troubador.  If i had to pick, it'd maybe be the Dirge for the +aggro ability for tanks.  But i'm just wondering which is more desireable right now for groups and raids?  Do guilds tend to want one more than the other on average? Or is it pretty equal ?<div></div>

<DIV>Hate transfer and Stoneskin are both very useful buffs for the MT and Dirges have other buffs that are very nice for a melee group.  Troubs are best suited to the Caster DPS group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If i had to pick bards for raids I would want 2 Dirges and 1 Troub.  Both classes are raid essential but Dirges are a bit more flexible imo.  Havind said that I'd hate to go to a raid without a Troub.</DIV>

<DIV>If you are just rolling a bard, you have a better chance, IMO, to get a raid spot as a troub.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A dirge truly shines in the MT group for the hate buff, stoneskin, and the parry buff.  If given the option between a troub and dirge in the MT group, the dirge is superior 95%+ of the time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A troub truly shines in any DPS group, primarily due to one buff that set the dirge and troub apart.  I'm talkin' about their respective hate buffs.  The dirge hate buff is cast on the MT and increases his hate gain by x%.  The troub hate buff is actually a hate decreaser for all non-fighters in the group.  This allows DPS to actually do DPS without getting themselves and possibly the whole raid killed.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sooo..... a dirge is best in the MT group and is useful in other groups.  The opposite is true for troubs; we're best in DPS groups but still useful in the MT group.  Since there is only 1 MT group but 3 "other/DPS" groups, a guild is more likely to roll with multiple troubs rather than multiple dirges.  In fact, it is not uncommon for my guild to raid with 3 troubs and 1 dirge.</DIV>
