Hi i have recently updated to KOS and was wondering what most of my fellow troub's have been using the AA points on. and which line or skill should i think about updating first, i was thinking maybe STR to give me abit extra power when fighting solo.any thoughts <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>
<DIV>Personally I did the Wis line for Dont Kill the Messenger. Then INT line for a bit to help with Arias, Dove, etc... Then the rest in pure stats (int, str)</DIV><p>Message Edited by Jait on <span class=date_text>04-12-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:13 PM</span>

<P>If you group or raid alot, until you get the 25 points neccesary for Dont Kill the Messenger, I would put your points in Agility line bumping up whichever skills you want (I maxed Bump). Once you get the 25 points you need, respec your achievement points and go full wisdom. After that it pretty much purely taste.</P> <P>If you solo alot, keep the agility line going... its a nice boost of dps and defenses.</P> <P>The reason I suggest to respec after the 25 points is because all of the wisdom skills are kinda useless imho except DKtM. Why waste your points in wisdom waiting for 25 AP. Respec is cheap the first few times.</P>

<DIV>hmmm. I was under the assumption that AGI was for power and avoidance, STR was for melee dmg output and INT was for power and spell dmg. AGI gives you more DPS?</DIV>

<DIV>You are confusing what the stats themselves do and what Im refering to as the abilities within the trees.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yes, Agility is for power and avoidance as a bard, but the dps from the agility tree comes from the skill Bump and the Poison Proc. THere are 2 skills in the agility line that add a little extra damage to our overall repertoire. The poison is a passive ability and though it may not be huge like the rogue and predator poisons, it's still a poison none the less. Bump allows us to make use of our stealth attacks more frequently, because it is a flanking attack that puts us in stealth. When soloing, you can Cheap Shot followed by Bump and immediately followed by Clara's. If you are fighting a mobs with long stun durations (no arrows or down arrows) then you can easily fit your other flank attack in as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In groups, our overall dps is just better because we have the extra flank attacks available.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The Defense from agility comes from our parry increaser, which improves with your level.</DIV>

<P> </P> <P>i would really like to put them into str and stamina but as a raiding troub, i have decided to put them into wis for dont kill the messenger, i will then put the rest into into, maxing the thrd and fouth tier which will leave me one point to place</P>

What I did was the Agility line until I got enough AP's to get Don't Kill the Messenger. Then I respec'ed. That way I got the benefit of the Agility line so I could earn enough AP's to spend on D.K.T.M. for grouping and raiding now.

I'm on a PvP server, I put 5 points in STA line; Nothing says <EM>I love you</EM> like a shield smash to the face. <evil> I'm putting the rest in the Wis line for now, extra ranged shot helps as does the speed buff while working up to DKTM. Not sure what I'll do with the remaining points yet.

<DIV>Whilst I was levelling to 70, all my points went into AGI so I could kill stuff faster. Now I have STR and WIS down to the final abilities, which are the best paths for a raiding troub, period.</DIV>
