<div>My main is a Coercer and I use charm all the time but miss the full contact melee, so I am looking at starting a PvP troubador.  I know the weaknesses of the Troubador charm compared to Coercer - shorter duration, chance to break if the pet gets hit.  But what about scaling of the pet's spells based upon quality of the charm spell?  If a Coercer charms a caster, the difference in damage is tremendous between charm spell quality.  A pet that might nuke for 400 with Adept I charm will only nuke for 100 at App I but will nuke for 1600 at Master I.  Do Troubador caster pets scale the same way?</div>

<div>Yes, that is true. If another mob attacks you while you have one charmed, the charmed mob will come to your aid. When in a group, if there are multiple mobs in the encounter, just let everyone know that you will charm one mob first. This way all the mobs rush you, you get attacked, and the charmed mob does it's job.</div>

<div></div>We actually used to pull the Keeper in poets this way....fury cast porcupine on me and i charmed one add....adds would kill each other in seconds and we would burn down keeper.

As far as I know, the quality of the charm spell only affects its resistability. Adept 3 is 20% harder to resist, Master 1 is 30% harder to resist, etc.

Can anyone confirm if in fact this is true?  If charmed mobs are hitting harder at Master then this spell is certainly worth the upgrade.
