<div>It's enough that rangers got LOTS of love in this last update.  Go ahead, read what all happenned to their hits, spells, etc.</div><div> </div><div>That's fine.  But were Troubs SO PERFECT that nothing needed to be done?   NO changes to our timers, etc.</div><div> </div><div>But, what really gets me.  While NOTHING was done to increase us (ok, we're so perfect, nothing needs tweaking) the developers made random down arrow green mobs SEE THROUGH our stealth.</div><div> </div><div>There is not much we have going for us solo.  Certainly we SUCK solo, which is ok.  But, when - all of a sudden and randomly - some low-life down-arrow green mob can see through our invis when it couldn't before?  And, thus, we can sudden;y be hit by enough agro mobs to kill us even before we can EVAC?  What was that for? </div><div> </div><div>Before the apologists post, please consider this:  MANY of us are not great fighters like you.  We counted on invis to at least get throught TYPES of mobs.  Now, even a Scaleborne Sentry, 95%  of whom can't see us, MIGHT see us.  So we can't move anymore.  Well, sure we can, but we have NO knowledge of who can or can't. . .   ANYONE can see us.  And we're the ones with TRACK and suppossedly can SCOUT.  HAH!</div><div> </div><div>Our stealth ability is no good to a group and almost worthless to us if we have a random chance of being seen by ANYBODY.  What does being a scout-troub-bard mean?   Many classes hace stealth, but it is a BAD THING that scouts suddenly have a chance of some random down-arrow green seeing us.  It is an insult to a supposed capability we were given.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div>One more thing.  While Adept 1 spells get found so often for other classes that I may as well sell them for the 6 Gold the NPCs offer, I find Troubador NPC spells cost 35 G and up.  This is at level 64 and up.  Tonight, March 23rd, I had ADEPT 1 spells for Conjuror, Paladin, Fury and Berserker ALL at level 67.  They were so plentiful on the broker they went for 7 G or so, while the NPC offered 6 G.  The ONE level 65 Troub spell was on the broker for 35 G.</div><div> </div><div>I'm kinda sick of this SOE.  Granted, we're an unpopular group, but you are doing NOTHING to help us, whether with spell drops, spell enhancements, attributes (such as making our invis better than others) or even a balanced set of spells (see the guild gripes  - personally, after playing a wizard, I can't see why anyone would CHOOSE to be a bard unless they gad a prediliction for it, as do I.)</div><div> </div><div>Bard-Scout-Dirge-Troub COULD be a fine class.  But there seems to be nobody at SOE that recognizes that.  So, no wonder we're the smallest class in the game.</div>

<div>I find spells to be dropping quite often. Even though, on my server, they were always high, and I don't know why.. There were so few, high up troubs, and ya, most of those scaleborn thingies, see invis, because of one of the recenet patches, no?</div><div> </div><div>Invis from one class to another, is no better, but I do believe level, plays a huge part in it.. Send any scout class, up against a scout type-mob, and they should be seen through invis.</div>

<div></div><p>I always found it humerous that NPC Scout mobs can see invis, however how many Player Scout classes come with a see invis skill?</p><p>Would make more sense to me if all the mage enemies saw invis instead hehe.</p>

<div></div>Yes, after the latest update, any random mob may see through invis.  Curiously, at one spot in tenebrous Tangle, it's the same two Scaleborn Sentries who see through it - and yes, those are sentries, not scouts.

well, my take on our adept1's is even if they do drop they are pretty much useless. as troubs were not that common a class all the troubs that i know were at master or adept3 already for pretty much all the t6 spells so upgrading to adept1 makes no sense at all except for a few new ones like jesters

This makes a massive difference.</p>

<span><blockquote><hr>Toogeloo wrote:<div></div><p>I always found it humerous that NPC Scout mobs can see invis, however how many Player Scout classes come with a see invis skill?</p><hr></blockquote>First of all, scouts have stealth, not invis. Subtle difference, but a valid one. As for how many player scout classes can see stealth ... all of them. Dropping into stealth also grants see stealth. You can verify this on NPC mobs in Deathtoll.</span><div></div>

Rogue and pred scouts have see invis bards are the only scouts that do not for some reason.    With that being said we are also the only scout that does not have a secondary ability on our stealth like both other scout types.<div></div>

I have to double check, but I was able to see invisible and stealthed PC's while shrouded myself.NPC Bards seem to be able to see stealth and invisible at all times though, e.g., Gul'Thex Mystics in Nektulos, sirens in Thundering Steppes.

Personally I think they shoulda gave the bards a song based invis with duration rather than stealth..  sorta like they had back in eq1.. makes alittle more sence to me anyway.Froad Rockin'Toad52 TroubadorOasis<div></div>

<div></div>They could call it Ventriloquism.  Yeah, they can hear you but be damned if they can tell where you are coming from.  Or else it would have to be a very quiet song.

<div>Changes I'd most like to see would have to be:</div><div> </div><div>1- RoR actually doing something. Perhaps a 100% chance to reflect the next spell if it procs or 5% (App2) -12% (M1) chance to reflect on all spells, with no proc needed. That would warrant keeping it up once in a while.</div><div>2 - Numerical upgrades for the Exhilirating Opus line. My master 2 still rocks the two upgrades' numbers, which it shouldn't. These upgrades should be in the form of spell qualities, not through AA's alone.</div><div>3 - Jester's Cap actually granting thirty seconds of reduced casting times instead of the 27-28 it grants (using Vert Reborn UI)</div><div>4 - An boost in Giuvena's bow line</div><div> </div>

I never liked the song-based invisibility in the old EQ. It was hard keeping people in range of that song, especially the one that was a combination movement/invisibility/levitation buff. There were so many ways to kill people in your group with that song, heh heh.
