hi,I just made two new characters on Talendor (German PvP).A monk and a Troubador. I recently leveled them to lvl 15 in commonlands with the same mobs, to get an occasional kill on those ugly FPs <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Ok, perhaps lvl 15 is very low to speak of but for now I can tell you that a Troubador is an awesome soloer..... Everything you cant take down with melee, is going to get kited for some secs. I killed some blues with ^^ , where my monk says : nono <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />When i compare the monk and the Troubador, I can atleast say they are on par in soloing.I hope this stays until the upper levels <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />TschüssiAbian<div></div>

A templar can solo to level 15, wait till around lvl 25 to lvl 50 or so.<div></div>

<div>There are two factors that create a hinderance to a troubador's and dirge's ability to solo.</div><div> </div><div>1) Lack of defensive/offensive stance. (Compared to other scout classes)</div><div>2) Low overall DPS (Compared to other scout classes)</div><div> </div><div>If we could do increased burst DPS there would be a decreased need for defense because the NPC would die quicker. Or Vice-Versa. We can solo at higher levels however, just not as good as most of the other classes. We are mainly a group/raid focused. I'm in no way saying we need either 1 or 2, I'm happy with being just the way we are.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Bastion of Evergrobb</div>

Once you get past 40 solo life as you know it is gone i have trouble soloing a blue no arrow mob they get me down to10% health most of the time, i just upgraded my gear and still cant solo.<div></div>

Honestly, for me, it is a combination of how difficult it is to solo as my char (and I have fully upgraded skills and cobalt weapons and armor) and real life stuff. I've noticed, that it seems easiest to solo when you're closest to certain levels (about 40, about 50) but harder between those levels.</p><p>I'd like to group more, but real life commitments at the moment are keeping me from doing so. I am finding more and more that while this game does allow for solo play, it is increasingly more difficult at higher levels (for obvious reasons).</p>

my recipe for soloing was to find down arrow grouped mobs, double down if possible. you get the exp for the kill and the exp for killing a group

<div></div><p>never ever had a problem with solo my troub all the way to lvl 66... actually i hated the lvls 36-38 they were awful but other than that our solo abilities are great, our damage can be very good indeed. people so often try to say no to me as DPS to a group and strangly then i always end up in the top 3 in DPS in some groups.</p><p> </p><p>i just wish we could see more affect of our agility, they really need to put effects in to show has dodging blows.</p><p>lalala like thats going to happen</p>

I always thought that we were pretty decent solo. I'm now 39 as a Troubador and still things seem pretty easy. I use a PGT in my primary and a sheild in my secondary (Hoping to use a Ghoulsbane eventually) I concentrate almost entirely on Intellegence. Since our CA and songs aren't reliant on weapon damage I find this is a good combo. Charm helps allot if you keep your subjugation skill high (Great spell for that I found is the one we don't get automaticaly at 35, Zanders Choral Rebuff)Another song that helps allot is the Aria line. Using that on a group encounter with our AE songs is pretty good.I can still take on double up arrow dark blues solo (37+) but heroics are still out of my range.I do however have most of my Abilities at master I rank (Rest at Adept 3)<div></div>
