<div>Hi,</div><div> </div><div>This is not a 'who would win in a 1 on 1 fight?' question but more along the lines of which seems to bring more to groups in a pvp environment question. I'm fairly familiar with both classes (have a 45 Dirge and 43 Troub on AB) but have been out of the game for awhile and am returning to play on a pvp server. I was hoping to get some perspective on which might bring more to groups pvp-wise.</div><div> </div><div>Currentlly I'm thinking Troubador, since most fights are frontloaded and our ranged DD attack is pure damage where Lanet's debuffs then ticks away before doing the actual damage. Also it seems like Aria might work a bit better the Crypts because fights tend to be pretty short with alot of Spells and CAs being thrown around and not a lot of auto attack damage happening.... Crypts would benefit chasing someone and using a bow however....</div><div> </div><div>I think the Charm/Mezz - Fear/Rez thing evens itself out over time. They'll be moments you're happy to have one of them and moments you wish you had the other.</div><div> </div><div>Anyway, my overall feeling is that both classes bring a fair amount to the table pvp-wise but I was hoping to get some opinions from people with some more experience than me. (I'm currently a lowbie Troub on Ven).</div><div> </div><div>Thanks.</div>

well i dont know for dirge's but my troub is fun as hell in pvp, i can take a lot of people, i have problems with furies<img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> but of course its cuz they can nuke for like 700 in the ~30 range, and can heal/hot themselves...so yea...but mostly if they are tough i snare(have master1 of the snare..so it snares like 55%) then i dd while on the run, and keep my camera panned back for when they turn to run so i catch up to them and snare and run or dd them until they start to chase me. lighter targets i can melee/DD down pretty easy. its really a preference thing i think, the charm in pvp is pretty crap, takes forever to charm, breaks easy as hell, cant cast on the move, and it requires a conc point....so idk, i think the troub is a great utility class and if you have someone(s) to run with then go troub i think<div></div>

<div></div><p>I have been having ablast on my troub so far to be honest. Group with a dirge and we seemed pretty on par with each other.  I do think fear is better then charm, but we get mezz and that helps a bunch. Bards really are a fun pvp class i have to say.</p>
