Range of Bow skills vs spell range

Hi guys I hope you can help me with this. I tried searching but coudln't come up with the answer.Right now I am a 37 troub and have the deafening missile bow skill. In the description it shows the range is up to 50 meters.I also have Dissenting Cantata and Alin's Melodic refrain. Both have a range of up to 35 meters according to their descriptions.Why then can't I fire off my deafening missile at a further range than my spells?Although I should be able to fire deafening missile before I can the other two skills, all icons light up at the same range.<div></div>

Are you using a longbow or a shortbow, becasue they both have different ranges.<div></div>

<div></div>The range of throwing or bow attacks is dependent on the range of your weapon in use. I don't think any ranged weapon at the moment has a range of 50 meters. That is just the maximum range it will go if you had a ranged weapon that had a range over 50 meters (which I'm pretty sure there isn't one).

I think the best ranged atm is 35? not positive on that i'm pretty sure thats what the long bows are.<div></div>

Aye Turnblade (str line, immune to ae) is 50 m also,   Very good for runningin and out for jousting<div></div>
