<div>I have searched the forums and hear that soon we may be able to betray at any level. My friend says that as a troub I might be able to become a dirge with a reset of spells to all app 1.... have you heard this? Could it be true?</div>

<div>I'm pretty sure it isn't true. I don't think any neutral class can switch if they betray. It is true though that all your skills do reset to Apprentice I if you change subclass by betrayal.</div><div> </div><div>I'm pretty sure that if you are a neutral class that you will not get the extra part of the betrayal quest that involves changing your subclass though. I haven't betrayed with a neutral class though, so really can't be sure.</div><div>Currently the betrayal quest has the same level requirements it has always had. Betraying at any level is almost definitely a backburner thing at the moment, if it ever gets implemented.</div>

<span>Your friend probably thinks that the troub-dirge distinction is like the conjuror-necro distinction; it isn't. <blockquote><hr>IA~CHAOS wrote:<div>I have searched the forums and hear that soon we may be able to betray at any level. <div></div>You heard correctly. Just as lower levels you'll have the option of choosing a neutral class again when betraying. You can choose to stay troubador or become a dirge with reset spells.
