<div></div><div>Was it just me last night......or did anyone else feel like they were burning power at an accelerated rate after LU#20?  I know the usual response is ...... "every single patch someone complains about this", but this is the first time I have ever truely felt like a change had been made.</div><p>Message Edited by Kulaf on <span class="date_text">02-22-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:11 AM</span></p>

I noticed it a little bit, too, but I chalked it up to the switch in playstyle (went from raiding nightly, back to xping). So ... I dunno.<div></div>

<div></div><p>I have a mis fortune of always making a big leaps about 2 hours before they nerf oops change things, got a host of power producing items and keep the spell up always, I hardly see my power below half now unless I forgot something or I blunder into some mana eating monster that sucks be dry in 2 ticks, or those drawn our raid brawles</p><p>I did notice the other night it was draining rather fast, unpon investigation I noticed i had some-how unequiped my Pris 2.0, poped that back and back to norm,</p><p> </p><p>So could be that my Prism 2.0 was my leap as I only got it in the week before the update.</p><p> </p><p>But thinking a bit more, you may be right because in the weeks before most of the time i was not even using my prism 1.0 so not having my 2.0 should not have made a huge diff but i definetly got the feeling i was going to get mana burns</p>

I noticed this last night when we were raiding temple of scale my power seemed to drain much than before.  If anything my stats were a bit higher, only maybe my base power was a little lower, but I wouldnt think it would of made that big of a differance.Oh yeah by the way where is that fix that soe promised was going to be in like two live updates ago where our int power modifires would be doubled to match our agi.  Yeah that never happend.<div></div>

<div></div>To those of you also presumably experiencing this......do you also happen to wear a crafted INT ring?  I am beginning to wonder if the buff is doing something funky.  When it procs I notice my power bar goes down.....as it apparently increases my total max power.  I am beginning to think that there is a coding error somewhere when the proc wears off.

<div>I couldn't seem to burn mine at all in an average fight unless I bothered with my debuffs.</div>

<div></div><p>I'm actually noticing less consumption.  Due to the rate at which we down single-group encounters, it's a waste of time to use anything but the snare, Kian's and occasionally Zander's to help burn 'em down faster.  Certainly except when I'm using Precision I haven't needed to do an awful lot of Demoralizing or Discanting (other than occasional exceptions) so as a result my Dark Fury plus my NB ring plus my GEBs plus my Bria's keep me up above 80% unless I have at least 2 more mobs parked for demolition.  When I had an enchanter in my group, I couldn't get below 93%.</p><p> </p><p>If you notice yourself blowing a lot more power than usual (unless it's the buff procs, which it may well be since I'm wearing NB ring and another I can't remember but which isn't agil or int imbued), I'd have a look at your debuff usage and how long you're letting them sit; they're easily our greatest legitimate power drain.  Also consider that in most ranged fights Pilfer gets used every time it pops; perhaps in group-leveling you're doing more melee (and melee-range CAs) and less Pilfering?</p>

<div></div><div>I use Pilfering every time it comes usable,</div><div> </div><div>not sure what was happening last night but i was burning mana like crazy, will have to monitor my use of the debuff things as from time to time i use them as i have seen how some times they can allow you to burn things down in half the time.</div><div> </div><div>As for the rings i use,</div><div> </div><div>Ring of fate, Fab +5 to all stats i think</div><div>Horn of Saevytr, Fab +10 to all stats</div><div> </div><div> </div>
