<div>Hi guys,</div><div>I am a 4day old Tourb currently just dinged 16 and currently running around blackburrow exping and stuff. I have observed that many posts mentions that doing Herioc even cons is a no-no, I have personally tried a herioc encounter and to much of my dismay, I agree that we just suck against them.</div><div>Though still early in the game, the exp comes fast enough even doing just greens and blues solo. My aim is currently just trying to move towards level50 and my question is that given the normal path or grouping and soloing greens and blues non heroics, will that put us on the same path and timeline of say a bruiser or monk etc to hit lvl50?</div><div>My impression of classes being able to do heroics was just to get good item drops off them, not from a exp stand point.</div><div>To sum it up</div><div>*will we level as fast as any other classes that solo well? (obvious but i just need to confirm)</div><div>*if yes will just soloing bunch of green/blue cons do it for exp? (I assume we can solo non heros at high levels)</div><div> </div><div>thanks for your input.</div><div> </div><div>Cheers</div>

<div>Well i did levels 57 and 58 the last two nights by grouping up - troubs add a lot to groups - mana regen, sta//str buffs, haste...</div><div> </div><div>Solo this would have taken me a long time - however using charm and taking on groups of mobs (I kick off the fight with charm and assist my pet as he attacks anything that dares to hit me - also lets me recharm him if it breaks) once all the others are dead attack pet, remove charm and finsh the fight.  Quite effective and more fun than picking out solo mobs.</div><div> </div><div>Having said that if you don't mind long kills you can use mezz to regen mana and power a bit when taking on heroics.  Certainly 40+ i found whilst i can't kill mobs nearly as fast as my Pally friend I can take on, with a bit of patience single mobs that would destroy him every time.</div><div> </div><div>Tried other classes and my necro, wizz and SK can level way faster than my troub but likewise my inq, defiler and illusionist level much slower.</div><div> </div><div>The combat changes made us less solo and more group but still fun either way (pre changes I could tackle epics solo if they were low end of my range - certainly named heroics)</div><div> </div><div>I guess in summary i'd mostly avoid the ^^^ mobs solo even the greens can be a pain.  Go for the groups of non heroics - probably able to do quite big groups of mobs with down arrows as high as yellow con and get the group exp bonus.</div><div> </div><div>But also look for groups - it's s social game why not be sociable :0)</div>

Aye troubadors are not for the most part a solo class. You will get much better and faster xp if you group than solo.  The only reason i solo is for quest and farming for anytype of xp I alwasy try to get a group above all else.  It just works out much better that way.<div></div>

<p>i find the best money comes when soloing so as I was coming up, I wasnt in any hurry to level as long as the cash continued to roll and it was very steady income.  I would go after the grouped  down arrow stuff for the bonus exp and avoid killing lots of single mobs. I pretty much mowed them down and all the loot was mine.</p><p>My first char was a templar and was dirt poor. Main reason is if you aren't in the sweet spot in the random order, you can make very little on an exp run. By the time my Troub hit 50, was in all rare t6, had alot of adept3's and masters and tons of cash left over to burn. All without trying to harvest the rare for an upgrade.</p><p>My templar at 50 was in trash armor and had a few plat to his name. its hard to splurge on a rare when it will bring you to 0. Templar is now retired and living on social security. Post 50, my troubadour started grouping to get at the more difficult stuff and has no money worries at all and is having a blast. He sky rocketed to 60, 59 went by in a blink.</p>

<div></div><p>Yeah, in particular, when you solo you can stop to harvest along the way (rares = $) and also you get dibs on all the glowie items you find (? = $).</p><p>For solo adventuring, try to find individual encounters with lots of linked 2-down arrow or 3 down-arrow monsters.  You'll get lots of those faction items (blackened iron relics and such) which you can turn around and sell to other players for some decent change.</p><p>You'll find lots of Adept I books too.</p><p>- Syll</p>

<div>Find a group of people who log at the same time as you .</div><div>I have about 4 groups that I log on with every day or so.</div><div>I do about 1/2 a level a night about 3 hrs at level 35.</div><div>Of corse about 1 hr of that is everyone deciding where to go. lol</div><div>But if you get a few groups together you will level extremely fast.</div><div> </div><div>Quick note , I was grouped in Zek with a bunch of guys and when I left for the night I remained group.</div><div>Up to that point we were fearless , nothing could really stop us. As soon as I left the zone I saw them dropping like flies.</div><div> </div><div>The people I group with know how important I am to the group and I am usually asked within, about 20 min to join a group I was with prior each time I log on.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>
