<div>So, now that I'm raiding more frequently, I've noticed that I have over twice as many buffs as I do concentration slots. I was curious to hear from others what buffs they keep up while raiding. Basically I can think of 3 group types we troubadors might be thrust into. The Main Tank group, a mostly melee group and a mostly caster group.</div><div> </div><div>Right now I'm only L54, but someday I'll be 60. I just hope it's before KoS hits.</div><div> </div><div>Fire away and let me know what you use. Right now I've been using Raxxyl's for the str/sta, Bria's for power, Quiron's for health, Graceful Avoidance for defense and Swan song if I'm in the MT group. Otherwise I switch out swan song for haste if I'm in a mostly melee group. Haven't been fortunate enough to get into a all caster group yet.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Rini Zoom'Zooom</div><div>54 Troubador</div><div>Permafrost</div>
Im 47 and have only just begun raiding and im using the same layout as you but have wondered the same. We have alot of others including damage procs and hate reduction which ive barely used.
there have been several threads on this issue but it really heavly depends on the group make up that you are in. Also, what type of mob you are fighting for our resists. Inmost raids you almost always have pr (Bria's). and Str/Sta(Raxxyl's), from there it can differ greatly. If you are part of the MT group you definently want to have Def(avoidance) and it some cases Hp Regen(Quiron's). Rarely will we ever get a chance to use our self buff druing raids, because the buffs that we can provied to the group greatly out way what our self buff will give us personaly. Now if you are apart of a dps group you will normaly still want pr and str/sta, but instead of def and hp regen you probably want to replace it with Serenade and Aria's. That is if the majority of your group is non-fighers. Scouts will beifight from arias too because of their poison and non-dmg abilites have a chance to cause it to proc. Now for a dps group that is heavy casters you will probably want Dove Song(+casting skills) where as for a scout heave dps group you will probably want Opus for haste. If there is about and equeal mixture of the two dove song normaly will be better than haste, because our haste is only 23% at master I.(T6) But of orange mobs you should alwasy have dove song up in almost any group. except for melee only because they are [Removed for Content] :-p.Now for generaly your 5th slot may be free to either use our self buff or a resist buff based what you are trying to take on. But i guess an easy way to think about it is we are there FOR the group nothing more nothing less.I personaly would like the con requirment of our self buff removed(and do the same to the dirge) so that we can have it on at all times like it was before the combat revamp.<div></div>

<div></div><div>It depends on what type of damage the mob does too. If it's elemental or arcane, you need to have one of those songs up.</div><div> </div><div>Use Tranquil Serenade and Swan Song and Bria's if in caster group because it increases their abilities.</div><div> </div><div>Use Tranquil Serenade and the level 17 bard song, Songster's luck if in a Ranger/other melee DPS group, and Bria's.</div><div> </div><div>Use Raxxyl's, Graceful Avoidance, Quiron's, Bria's for sure if in the MT group.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Tranquil Serenade really does work. Usually it's the rangers who pull agro off the mob and wipe the raid, but with Tranquil's at adept 3 or better, they dont' ever get agro when in my group.</div><div> </div><div>The level 17 bard song, Songster's Luck increases all melee and ranged attacks by 6.1, but shares the same slot as Swan Song.</div><div> </div><div>Hope this helped.</div>

Unfortunately the level 17 song will not be an option after live update 19. <div></div>

<div><span><blockquote><hr>Cabel wrote:<div></div><p>It won't be an option after the update? Why is that?</p><p> </p><hr></blockquote>Because our scout/bard skills are being replaced with low level troubador skills. Meaning it will likely be turned into a lower level swan/dove song. Its happening to dirges too and all classes. </span></div>
