Is there a link to a guide for Troubadours? I am a little overwhelmed with what stats or other class/race abilities to pick levelling up. What are the defining stat/class/racial abilities to go for for a Troubadour? I have seen guides for other classes that go into the abliites in detail.Thanks.

Nope seems the troubador guides are fairly light.Agility is your main focus, closely followed by int as they are your power pool contributors and agility = avoidance and int = spell damage. Focus your species bonuses that way when levelling, as for the master 2 choices well thats really up to how you play. I took the combat speed buff as my level 14 master 2, and 24 i took the defence debuff.Just make sure you get as good equipment with agility and int bonuses as possible and some decent weapons and youll do fine.

The race you are really doesn't make a difference in the long run. The innate stats they have can be bufed later on with gear and abilities. :smileytongue:

With the new combat changes, going about a troub is different now:

1. Between levels 10-19: Concentrate on your stun, debuffs and getting the sta, mana buffs to adept 1/ad3 if you can afford.

2. Between levels 20-29: Utilize your first hate reduc song when you get it. At early levels tanks can lose aggro easily or some players may be doing to much damage. In addition your damage proc (works for non-melee abilities) and charm should be explored. The charm may save some battles from turning the wrong direction with adds, if any. The damage proc song is good for taunts since its non-melee skill it has a chance to proc and accrue extra hate for the tank.

3. Between levels 30-39: Make sure to find the apprentice 4 or adept 3 of Zander's Choral Rebuff, it is a great debuff to have later on in the game. Make sure to take note on the upgrades to previous songs and use them the same way. Also you will get a better resistance buff song, this one is shifty as not many monsters are magic dealing enemies in the early 30's btu the resistance songs are usefull once you pin the area where it is needed.

4. Between levels 40-49: These 10 levels are the same as the previous ones. The few major differences is you not get a really good arrow shot that has a stifle to it on successful attack. Very very useful skill for pulling or to keep on monsters during fights. You will now get a heat/cold resistance buff, which is great considering a lot of enemies 45+ start to use a lot of magical damage with heat and cold. The mental/magic/divine resistance buff is still really good to use as well.

5: Between levels 50-60: You now have your mezz, a newer charm, and better buffs for stats, hate reduc and mana regen. With all you have discovered for yourself in the previous levels will make the last few really easy. You get upgrades to most of your older songs. With al these upgrades, you will want to save up the money to afford your Ancient Teaching (AT's) abilities. The Lv.55 and Lv.58 abilities are great. You get a really good debuff, and an amazing short term buff proc song.

During play you will figure out your own personal style, but above is just some specific abilities to take note of.
