They have nerfed reflection from working against aes but i have notice even tho it wont reflect the damage it does bring up the reflection proc for the next spell. Now in most cases the %s are still way to low and aes joustable enough to make this unuseful. I have found 1 exception to this rule. Fast Ticking D.O.T.s !! These can quickly generate a bunch of bunch of active 76% reflection procs. Again these might not that be that usefull in  an off tank group. In the MT group those these become quite powerful. Here is where I noticed this at........  We were doing courts the other night. I was in castor group for 80% of the zone but right before we got to the mob right before the Black Queen one of are dirges minimizes his screen to check something and he mistakenly zones out <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> . So into a MT group i go . I go all out def buffs and the mobs are nuking hard for magic or divine so i have up arcane concerto and i figure [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] ill drop self buff and throw up requiem. Pull is rough and my whole groups gets slammed with the ae dot. Dmg from it is nothing like 20-30 points tops but its ticking like 2-3 a seconds and seems uncureable . Then i notice Requeim starts going crazy i look at my maintianed spells and i got like 4 of the reflect next spell up and those are reflecting and and new ones are popping up !! With dots unlike DD aes it puts a single target spell on each person so They can be reflected I believe.    So even tho this buff maybe not as usefull as I would like it it still holds great promise in certain situations ......     In raids    1. Fast ticking AE Dots - this seems to be when it is most effective weather in mt,caster, or dps even against fast ticking dots you will get multiple reflects    2. MT group_High nukers- This goes soso but epic castors get alot of spells off and few of them do non-melee dmg with there auto attacks.( Ask the tank find out whats hitting him and how often) Dirges Stone skin might be more useful because all mobs auto attack ,but even reflecting 1 or 2 6-7k nukes, a stun , or power drain to the mt san change the course of the battle.    In groups     1 Good question ? idk maybe fast ticking dots or against certain named that do non-melee auto attack but i think they removed all of those    Dueling     1 Duels are fast and regens dont make alot of differnce , I throw it up against any mage, preist, or crusader, Wont decide the battle but will win ya close one sometimes     2 Get rdy to laugh your [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] off the first time you reflect someones swarm pets or an coercers reactive damage back on them <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Requeim of Reflection is not the best spell spell in this bards bag of tricks but it definitly has its uses. I Think with a small adjustment with the %s or a strait % proc rate it would be as usefull as dirges SS. I Still love playig my Troubador if SOE would fix a few small issuse we will be equall to are Dirge cousins. Oh and BTW where are Stances Soe. Dont hate bards forever for breaking your old combat system. We need love too. <div></div>

I could care less if dirges were more powerfull than us troubadors. Some classes will always be stronger than others. Its simply too difficult to balance all classes to make them perfectly equal in power. All im asking for is for all my spells and songs to be usefull in at least some situations. And I feel requiem isnt worth the 1 concentration no matter the situation. Monsters dont cast often enough and even when mobs use AE dots, the song might trigger but what will it reflect? at best a couple ticks of the AE which must be your level or under to be reflected. If you ask me you would be MUCH better off using another song instead of requiem and simply interupt the casting of the monster (awesome bellow master1 is extremely usefull) <div></div>

I think another problem with it is even if it did work reasonably well we have to many other things needign conc. slots - it wowuld need to be really good to gain a spot in many situations. Personally I'd prefer to see it replaced than tweaked and preferably not with a concentration ability. <div></div>

One last thing I forgot about this song. Its hell if your using mezzes. For example, mob casts a dot on you, you mez it then the dot procs your reflection effect and next tick it wakes the mob. Not fun at all when the mezzed mob is a named that can kill you in 2 or 3 hits <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Yeah I also bought the master off broker, even though I never use that spell. Trying to finish my master collection is the only reason I bought it <div></div>

This buff is broken and makes it so frustrating when I group with a dirge and I see there version proc non-stop and ward for so much damage. I don't think I've actually used this buff since I got it at master over 2 months ago.:smileyindifferent:

I think I found the only situation where requiem of reflection might be worth 1 concentration slot. I was in MT group on a Arch lich raid and I used RoR master1. The reflection effect went off about 2 or 3 times in the fight and I did see some reflect message pop above the head of the MT. So it did actually reflect some spells, dont ask me how much damage was actually reflected tho. Oh and the only difference between adept3 and master1 is the proc % went up from 11% to 12%... I think the scaling should be fixed as 1% doesnt justify getting the master1 version over adept3. I just wish the devs could work on it to make it usefull in more than one raid... <div></div>

There are ONLY a handfull of encounters where this spell is even remotely usefull anything else its just nice to look at the graphic you do when it procs.  then you can sit there for 30 seconds and watch the proc time out BECAUSE MOBS RARLY CAST SPELLS THAT QUICKLY. The dirge version 12% to proc a spell that will assorb the one mellee hit for up to 20 seconds    - How offten do you think it is that a tank is not taking a hit for 20 seconds ........ The troubador verion 12% to proc a spell that has a 73% chance to reflect one spell for up to 30 seconds    - Does not effect AE spells (but can trigger the proc)    - Does not reflect special aiblites    - Does not reflect breath attacks    - Does not reflect profession abilites.    -> basicly all it does now is have a chance to reflect a dot.  Hot [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] for all of those pesky dots that are hitting for 100 - 200,  Those few k dmg nukes can be ignored now because we have a chance to reflect dots.   YEPPPY!!!! In all the troubador's actualy chance to proce in 95% of all encounters is about 3% (12% chance to proc, 73% chance to refect, !!!30 second time out!!) The driges is in 95% of the case 100% chance to assorb the the next melee hit. which in raids means normaly 2- 5k damage. <div></div>
