I think they probably do but dont know what to do about us yet. With our buffs effecting most other classes I can see them tweaking the other classes first before adjusting us so they can properly calculate how our buffs/debuffs should be balanced. Problem is they will never stop tweaking the others classes so may be a long time if ever that they are ready to do us. <div></div>

<DIV>We are looking into all classes to see how to better balance them. I believe this would also include the Troubadors.</DIV>

<DIV>I miss my uber troubador stackable buffs. Thats what I originally picked the class for.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG>"Troubadors play music that inspires strength and courage in the hearts of their companions. They lead their allies into the deepest dungeons. Raising their spirits with songs of victory."</STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV>I want that troubador back. All of our buffs are meh.</DIV>

I love my troubador and play him to the best of my ability.  My job has been a ton better and easier now that I have an elite line of skills to buff specific classes. Irritates the crap out of me when Dev's are blamed for all this though, in defense of them, they really push day and nights to rethink how things can be done for quests, npcs, weapons, armor, enemies, encounters, skills, zones, zoning, mechanics, adventure packs, expansions, new content...etc. The last thing they need is negative criticism about how they aren't doing their job because a bunch of impatient players want to be first on everything. These people we pay, yes, but patience is recquired since they are human. They can't sit there with an idea for days on end or stare at code till they blind themselves. This stuff is great and I think they are keeping up rather well with it. In time though all the impatient players will probably be weeded out by WoW, Vanguard, or whichever they played before eq2. </DIV>

<P>As a game developer, thanks <A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/view_profile?user.id=22133" target=_blank><SPAN>Balmung of the Azure Sky</SPAN></A>  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>Now my big gripe about troubs is that I don't feel like a buffer. I'd like to be more active while buffing. I'd like to see more short single target buffs. These should be powerful to reflect the fact that I have to with hold off attacking to cast them.</P> <P>Healers have to be diligent in there healing, tanks have to be weary of adds, I feel like I'm not participating in the fight as much. Stringing my attacks is expected of me, I'd like to have a little bit more <SPAN>responsibility</SPAN>.</P>

Guardians and Templars have both made numerous complaints and heard nothing basically since the CU. </P> <P>I believe it is long past time you started to make some statements. You have said how much data you can track and such well that means you should be able to look at things much faster then 2 or 3 months. It is about time you started listening to complaints and communicating to your players. </P>

I agree with Mawie.  That is what my 60 Troub has become, a buff bot.  On raids, I set the buffs and forget about it.  I autofollow my main toon(now a 60 Ranger)  and I set a macro so i can push 1 button to cast debuffs on raid mob(s).  I push 1 button on Troub to debuff then go back to Ranger and DPS.  <div></div>

In all I beleive the troubadors do have several short comings that really should be boosted.  I understand that we are not dps classes, we are a buffing class.   And I am for the most part great with this, but after LU13 the effectivness buffs could give to a group by one class was greatly reduced.   Thats all fine and dandy for fighters, mages(not enchanters), priest, and other scouts,  but the utilty classes, (bard (mostly troubador) and enchanters had the usefullness greatly reduced in raiding/grouping situations.)  Dont get me wrong if a person really knows how to play their class and are on the ball, we can do somethings very well.  But, Utilty classes should be the best buffing classes in the game, because that is what we are, we really cant dps, we cant heal, we cant tank, we buff the group.  Just quickly looking over other classes spells and abilities, several of them are much better than our core buffing/debuffing abilites. In all I am happy playing my class grouping/raiding there are just several short comings that the troubadors have that really should be addressed. Please please please, either remove Requiem of Relfection from the game and preplace it with something else or make it usefull. <div></div>
