View Full Version : Where are all the Troubador masters?

SureShot

<DIV>I play a 60 troubador on Mistmoore.  The guild I'm in raids nightly, and we have several groups farming PP, Cazels, Roost several times a day.  I have noticed what seems to me to be a very real lack of troubador master spell drops from raid targets and these instances, as compared to our dirge counterparts.  Looking in the guild bank, I swear we have about 5 dirge masters rotting away because we have only one dirge, and he has the spells already.  In the last five months, there has been only ONE troub master to drop....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Looking on the broker twice a day, it's sad how few masters are for sale on the Qeynos and Freeport brokers.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Last night with all the masters dropping, it seems every class was blessed with muliple masters, I got to say grats to other folks so many times it made me sick!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else notice this trend?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>You are aware of the fact that some spells don't come as Adept1?</DIV>

Give it time, with master spells still dropping like candy it won't take long for the market to get flooded with masters for all classes. <span>:smileysad:</span> <div></div>

WIth yesterday's batch of master drop i have seen more 50+ troub master than i ever did 1-50.....on a side note i think the metals were landing on peoples heads cause they are being just ignorant about pricing on permafrost (27pp for courtly blade), most of the rest are around 13pp <div></div>

In spite of all of the master drops, I've seen ONE master on a broker (also for a silly price), and a guildy gave me one.  My server's economy certainly wasnt changed with respect to troub. masters by the short flood. <div></div>

Well, I compared the Adept3 PotM with the Master 1, and there doesn't seem to be much of a difference:- 9 INT more- +7 to lower end of the damage scale- +7 to the higher end of the damage scaleAlthough there's one on my server for 5p right now, I wouldn't consider it an upgrade to the Adept3 I have now (at least not one worth spending the cash on).

<DIV>They are out there. So far i've managed to get Guviena's, Purloin, Stats, Flawless, Eiles. I saw reflection up for sell, i'm not about to buy that pos though. I do look faward to the PoM master though.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The Purlion master though, its worthless IMO. Does like 386 dmg I think.<BR></DIV>

<div></div><p>Same problem on Befallen server. The few Troubie masters that are up on merchants (53 plat anyone?) are few. None of the troubadours I've pinged have seen the Balletic Avoidance master yet.</p><p>Why is a class with such awesome roleplaying ability and service to group get the short end of the stick every time? <div>On Highkeep there are not many Troubadors, and there are many many masters on the broker. However, I personally have only seen maybe 3 drop in our guild (One was a double, what are the odds)</div><div> </div><div>My guess its just bad luck within the guild, since I have managed to pick up most of our buffs master 1 and debuffs from the broker.</div><div> </div><div>Dont think SoE has any personal Vendetta against troubadors though, maybe coercers, but not troubadors <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

<div>Precision and Aria proc damage based on the troubadour's intelligence, not that of their groupmates.  In fact it's slightly bugged, in that if you have maxed int when you start Aria, then lose int, the proc remains at its maxed level.  I don't use that consciously, but if I get int-debuffed at least I know Aria's still hitting hard.  One thing I'm not sure about is whether Precision's int-buff gets applied before or after the proc is set.  In one case it'd be safe to run int well below the cap, while in the other it'd be ideal to be maxed, personally at least, before casting Precision.</div>
