I'm inching up on level 44 and starting to think about what I want to upgrade to masterII, I have all adeptI, no masters, no adeptIII's The choices are:
Level 44

Bria's Exalting Ballad (power regen)

Invigorating Opus (attack speed)

Sandra's Befuddling Incursion (quick attack w/pwr drain)

Quiron's Ecstatic Celebration (health regen)

What did you choose or do you plan to choose?

Message Edited by Jarkun on 11-21-2005 08:29 AM

I personally can't see myself taking Sandra's because its simply buffing yet-another-attack, and Opus doesn't appear be a big improvement over the adeptI version. For me it comes down to Bria's and Quiron's. Bria's is "the" group buff in my mind, you help everyone in a very significant way, but I don't find it very useful when soloing, I seldom run out of power. Quiron's can tip the scales when soloing or a group w/out a healer, I prefer to group, but find myself soloing a lot since I'm not patient enough to take the time to find a group....if it doesn't happen organically it simply doesn't happen for me. So... bria's: good in a group, esp in a raid or any long encounter....but even the regular version is good enough that people want you along, little recognition for having a masterII quierons: good when soloing or in small groups

I chose to go with the attack speed mainly for the dps

Sandra's Befuddling Incursion because it is the song that I use most often.

Your job, is mainly to buff your group, not you. Thats kind of what a bard does. Take the bria's, you will get the most group assitance for your money there.

My job is to be succesful with a group or raid. Since I usually have an enchanter around, neither power regen or haste is very useful since, to my knowledge, they don't stack with the enchanter buffs. Health regen is only nice when you don't have a healer.

I have to agree with Vand...I also chose the Brias, as I felt it will help the group out the most with Mana regen...though improved since the update, we are NOT a DPS class...it is my mindset that we are there to buff the group, and deuff the mobs...

Only time I would feel viable about upgrading a Master II to something is when your higher level replacement spell Adept I version is not as good, but again you will get 14 levels of use till that upgrade comes...then there is always respec...entirely up to you... =)

I picked bria's as well until i got the 50's version of the mana regen, then snagged the M1 of it. Respec'd and got the master II of the invigorating opus since the 50's haste isnt worth adept 3. you can waste a rare on that when you are fine and done improving the line's that really matter like aria's, bria's and your AT's.
