questions for you seasoned troubs, please take a look :)

hey guys... i finally went with troub, yay, TROUBIE POWAH! well anyway. got a couple of newb questions. as you can see, i have a lot of chars and i guess the most complicated ones i have played are crusaders since you need a nice banlance of int, wis, str, and sta to be really effective (my sk has more int than any other stats and he nukes like mad) well i chose troub (or bard) because i am tired of my swashies ALL STR AND NOTHING ELSE *same goes for predators* dps talk. and i think i can do something unusual with a bard. so here are my questions 1. is power pool still mainly affected by our agi? 2. how important is int to us troubies? 3. is it too weird to use a shield for int and AC and a nice one hander since our melee blows anyway? 4. why don't we troubies get girls?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! i want answers [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] it! answers!!!!!!!!!!! <div></div>

<P>Hey, 60 troub here, and yes AGI (unfortunately) still is our power pool stat - like all scouts.</P> <P> </P> <P>INT is one of our most important stats because it effects our group buff proc damage, nuke damage, etc. I'd say a good split between INT/AGI and 2ndary STR (for melee dmg) is the best way to go. I use a shield when soloing heroics and a fabled 1h.. fabled round shields are the best because of their high INT (much higher than cedar and ironwood has none at all : maybe the un-imbued ones does?)</P> <P>well now I'm just blabbering <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> will [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]! hope I helped.:smileyvery-happy:</P>

Yes it is, but unless you are running all the maintained debuffs in raid situations you shouldn't have any problems with power consumption (upgrade the essence and Bria's lines to AD III -and use these to pace your debuffs)</P> <P>2. Very - int = more damage for our spell attacks, which are the majority of our attacks, our shriek line is our biggest hitting attack if you get your int as high as you can. </P> <P>3. I use a shield when kiting groups of heroic mobs or tanking in group. I also use a shield for int in raids at present because against most mobs I simply cannot hit the mob with melee CA's (im level 49 and usually the lowest in the raid) so prefer to stand at range halfway between the casters (whom I'm grouped with) and the melee's laying on debuffs and spells which do land alot more frequently. Infact I am looking at getting a wizzy dagger for extra int (ceremonial dagger).</P> <P>4. Not sure what your doing wrong here since I do get the girls. <DIV>Well the AGI-power thing is answered I guess! I would say though that I rarely have power issues (unless Im debuffing over a long period of time) and INT does add some power also.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I consider INT my primary stat as it augments the spells which do the majority of my damage. Our best DD attack is probably the shriek line (can't remember its lower level name) as my Flawless Shrill consistently outdamges my Startling Shriek sneak attack (both are masters). When I buff my INT this spell hits even con mobs for much more damage than any of my combat arts. Then there is the Aria proc line, which is also affected by your INT. Solo and grouped, INT is much more important to my DPS than STR, but nevertheless I do still aim to increase my AGI (2nd) and STR (3rd) through my equipment choices, as a mix of stats is more well balanced. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also always use a shield and 1h when solo, but normally two DW weapons in groups and raids.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh and my troubie is a girl, so I don't think that last one matters too much!
