<DIV>I'm just a bit curious what everyone uses for a spell line up. I've been playing my Troubador since day one but took a few month hiatus ( during which SOE made some huge changes) and am back in action. Currently I'm lvl 32 but I'd love to hear what all lvls and types use in:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. A balanced group</DIV> <DIV>2. A heavy spell casters group</DIV> <DIV>3. A warrior based group</DIV> <DIV>4. DPS group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Power, Proc, Daelis, Avoidance, Raxxyl.  Switch out Raxxyl and avoid for resists and/or charm depending on prey.  I like charming, even if it sometimes plays hob with tanks <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>2. Power, proc, avoid, Daelis, raxxyl - switch out raxxyl or avoid for resists depending on specific group makeup, use Precision when reasonable.  Charming in a mage-heavy group isn't such a good thing, what with AE and casting times.</P> <P>3. Power, avoid, raxxyl, Daelis, haste (junk though haste is, 5*15%=75% extra auto-attack dps) and always ready to drop haste or Raxxyl to get a charm off if the situation offers itself.</P> <P>4. I think we already covered this in #2 <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><BR></P> <DIV>That's my general "default" loadout for most groups anyhow; obviously on raids it really depends on the strat involved.  Sometimes I'm the mezzer, sometimes the mage-group guy, sometimes (even now) still the MT's best friend.</DIV>

<DIV>Pretty much the same I think. For me I use;</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1: Mana Regen, Avoidance, Raxxyl's, Aria Proc, last spot for whatever the situation requires (resists, self buff etc)</DIV> <DIV>2: Mana Regen, Avoidance, Raxxyl's, Aria Proc, Hate Reduction</DIV> <DIV>3: Mana Regen, Avoidance, Raxxyl's, Haste, last spot for whatever the situation requires (resists, self buff etc)</DIV> <DIV>4: Not sure what you mean :smileytongue: #2 is a caster DPS group lineup, #3 a melee DPS group lineup</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by WorldsAway_Nybor on <span class=date_text>11-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:45 AM</span>

PLUS less repairs are needed... PLUS the mob stays where it needs to stay.</P> <P>I think people don't place enough value on De-aggro... I also think far too many scouts think it makes sense to use STR/AGI buff and Haste in a group where they are the only melee... (like the caster only group) We are not a DPS class... SOE screwed up... get over it... you are there to provide buffs to the group... if you have 4 casters, 1 priest, 1 bard then the bard needs to focus on the 4 casters... songter's luck will lower fizzles and resists... and Daeli's will help your lvl 58 Precision spell and your Proc Song hit higher dmg for each caster... as well as increase your Shriek, Power Drain, and Thunder Spells.</P> <P>My highest lvl De-aggro spell (52 I think it was) at AD3 gives 43% group aggro reduction to all non-fighters.. it has some other text in there too about lowering aggro like 87 points when we get hit or if we hit the mob or something... but it's so vague I have no idea what it means... the main thing is the 43%.... that's pretty sweet.<BR></P> <BR></BLOCKQUOTE><BR>

<DIV>Almost forgot... you also have to tailor your spell selection a bit to YOU... if you have Master 1 HP regen... and Adept 1 Defense song... well... there might be a trade off there.  I suggest not ending up with weak spell grades of your main spells... but at times it happens.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I really suggest the first spell you AD3 is your power regen... as you will notice almost everyone put it in EVERY group.... after that you have to assess play style... Raids/instances, exp groups, solo... and upgrade what matters.  I find Demoralizing Procession and Oppresive Discante to be great investments... they enable you to to weaken any difficult encounter... then obviously the other spells I listed in my group selections.</DIV>
