<DIV>Direct power vs. Power pool attributes.</DIV> <DIV>As for Troubadors we use both intelligence and agility for our power pool attributes. I have given this much thought and conversed with many players on how anyone should really go about keeping a good balance with it all, pertaining to any class really. But for this sake we will use our Troubador model as it is well known to us. =)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I pick direct power over power pool attributes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. Agi and Int can be debuffed reall hardcore leaving you with almost no power.</DIV> <DIV>2. Direct power is unaffected by these debuffs and in most cases will give more power against the stats.</DIV> <DIV> (e.g. an item with 8agi 7int and 0 power will not provide the same boost as an item with no stats and 70 power</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>**It's understood that we need to maintain a balance of stats for dmg output and effectiveness of spells.**</DIV> <DIV> But it is imperitive that we don't run out of power.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Keeping all this in mind, how are we supposed to keep up with int/agi for power and ability effectiveness minding that wis is needed for resists and the str is just a crock of $h!t anyway so we'll negate that one.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any input on this? I would like to know some more points on which is better off and why, keeping in mind other factors for playing efficiently. If you have examples or other things to help prove a certain side, that would be awesome for all to check out and help understan d the points you are trying to come across. Thanks guys! . . and gals o.0</DIV>

<DIV>i never have an issue with my power, even wen using 4 concurrent power debuffs multiple times in a long raid.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>from memory i chose INT for atributes, in combat power regen over max powerpool 2x (do the math +10in combat than 3%+3%max power pool over time)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>even if u do get debuffed and your power pool drops due to having 300agi or 420+ int, its not gonna be all teh time or every fight.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>in teh right grp makup and specific items, 420int isnt hard to achieve, agi might be. but i see your point on equipping items that offer significant power increase over higher stats on teh item, after all 420INT is easily achieved self buffed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>keep in mind pilfer essence can give u back 100-150 power every 11seconds if u r in range and theres all the potions power stones/accessories that you can use if things get bad. (throw your prismatic away i dont even use it no more)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>in teh long run, if u want to equip items for max power pool possible, i would still focus on teh actual mitigation on resists for certain encounters, power management imo is easyily maintined while u r doing you classes max potential, even with a power pool of 4000.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>be nice to have guviena's back to returning power rather than herioc stifle =)</DIV><p>Message Edited by smegsaur on <span class=date_text>11-13-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:41 PM</span>

<DIV>You bring up some really good point bud. I was just inquiring different views on opinions of which may be better for ya ;p </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Guviena's would be much better as the cheap power drain it once was, even though that power draining kinda seems a bit useless when mobs have infinipower it seems to me; but the power siphoned was killer. In addition I really like the stifle shot. Sorry to say that we aren't special enough to get both a stifle and a power drain bow shot. =( </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
