<DIV>The entie arias lineup was nerfed.  I have exaltation and is down considerably, like 200ish.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The cap on the master1 used to be  531dd with enough intel, and I usually ran with intel giving me a 451dd when in mele gear.  The Master 1 is only 14% better than the adept3 now..GRR! a measily 35dd extra.  I am sitting at 300 now with a max of about 330ish.(Did they even think about the loss this is giving us)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Moose</DIV><p>Message Edited by pikeymoose on <span class=date_text>11-09-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:41 PM</span>

Yeah, that hurt bad. Down from 475-ish max (self buffed), to mid-300s. <span>:smileymad:</span> <div></div>

Before the patch my Aria proc was 381 (average of 18 hits) and after the proc 235 (average of 27 hits). Thats a reduction of 38% and that seems like a lot to me. (Measurements on same mobs before and after patch; Aria Master II).

<DIV>Sadly, this translates to a significant nerf of our individual dps...  While I know that the song is very very powerful if many casters are in a group, there should have been a limitation to the damage others get off this spell while leaving our damage intact (to preserve soloing effectiveness).  The only way that we ever really hit our dps bracket is getting Aria to proc a lot (Precision is really an aberration for us and shouldn't be considered in DPS calcs, because of it's level.  I would have preferred the "nerf" to come in the form of a reduction for others in the group to 75% of the spell's base damage and then altered by their int modifier.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There isn't a good argument for nerfing individual troubador dps as we're hardly heavy hitters (before or after this change).  </DIV>

I think the main point is that to this point there has been no explanation to the troubador "community". Anytime there is a nerf to any class, somebody employed by SoE should be justifying it on the class boards.  <div></div>

its probably because we do not whine as much as enchanters :-p (just poking fun <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )] <div></div>

<P>/tear</P> <P>This is stupid. Aria's was one of the few songs that made my dps worth a hoot for soloing since strength doesn't affect troub melee dps the way it does dirge and all other scouts. It still is a decent amount of dmg extra but now the recast times on our spells is what is restricting us from and noteworthy dps. Might as well just stick my arm through the fanblades since that would be much less painful than logging into a toon that's nicely decorated with highend gear only to suck my thumb when it comes to dmg output myself. That's beside the point though. THere is nothing more than I love, than to buff a group to increase their classes usefulness for anything, but now I will have to log on knowing well that I have to tell them that I cannot increase their output as well as I used to =(</P> <P>We all know bards were seriously overpowered in eq1 but that doesn't mean that bards should be sqaushed to nothingness in eq2, it hurts our feelings /pout pout</P> <P>I'd give it a few more weaks, maybe we will get something neat or cool, unlikely but we can always wish @_@ haha.</P>

I am in some cases forced to use Maestros when soloing now, because yes the reducetion did greatlyl reduce the amount of dmg i can do.  but it does seem to proc more often. I dont know if thats a bug or not. <div></div>

<DIV>Yeap, i use the precision too, though now whenever i use it i lament about all the nice new duel wield dps i'm missing out on due to the spell.</DIV>
