<DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>           I am a bit confused here...  and more than a bit frustrated by all the negative BS which I see.   There seems to be an over abundance of posts here saying how terrible a class this is and or every other class board I have checked.  It appears people have these preconceived notions of what a Troubador is and or are just really terrible players if they say they cannot solo or keep running out of power or this spell was nerfed or this ability was taken away....  on and on and on....  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>People, wake up..... this is not EQ 1, This is not Asherons Call, Ultima online Dark age of Camelot, Lineage or anything else you can think of or like any game you have played...  either adapt or move along...  You choose to pay every month to play this version of what a Troubador is... and like every game this is a work in progress.... so deal with it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>From what I have perosnally seen and expreienced,  the Troubador  class is incredible and versitle...  I have no problem soloing yellow 1 arrow up mobs 2-4 levels higher than me, my guildies and I love what I bring to a group or raid,  I have no problem with power running low and if it does... so is everyone else in group and raid...  guess what..... a minute or so later we all are ready to go...  Solo efforts...  kill regen kill again....  rinse repeat...  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>While a Troub might not be as strong as say a ranger, they have other abilities which the other scout classes do not as they have what we do not...  best solution if you want those abilities...... play that class....  but all this whining and complaining is cluttering up what little useful info comes out of these forums.  Yes, I agree, there are a lot of things which are broken,  and do not work as intended or as we might wish...  but, things are as always a work in progress....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Novel idea for the solo or group challenged....</DIV> <DIV>If you cannot solo, there is a bank of hotbar buttons....  try using them, you would be amazed how much better you can solo....  in a group or raid....  same thing...  try learning the class....  There is a reason why there are heroic mobs and none heroic 1,2,3 arrow up mobs and arrow down mobs....  </DIV>

Like... one? MAYBE two? I have not seen that many posts going "TROUBADORS SUK11!!11 OMG [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] SOE SUX FOR OUR CU11111 LOL OF WIT THERE HAADS!11!111 [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] LOL." In fact, I have seen a lot less of that on this board than any other class board. What I have seen are a few threads dedicated to fixing some of our spell lines or individual spells that need tweaking. But as you say later on in your "post," this is a work in progress.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>People, wake up..... this is not EQ 1, This is not Asherons Call, Ultima online Dark age of Camelot, Lineage or anything else you can think of or like any game you have played...  either adapt or move along...  You choose to pay every month to play this version of what a Troubador is... and like every game this is a work in progress.... so deal with it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#66ff00>Again, I really don't see much of that on this board.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>From what I have perosnally seen and expreienced,  the Troubador  class is incredible and versitle... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#66ff00>Hmm... okay. What kind of armor are you using when you solo? If you're using the top of the line stuff, yeah, I can see you being able to solo yellow one arrow up mobs. Anything else seems like an overexageration. But, I can say from my experience that I am NOT great DPS in a solo situation. I can solo whites, and some blues with one arrow up... and some yellows with arrows down... but as a level 50, I am not running around soloing heroic level 55s. I do agree, however, that we are versatile and useful in groups. People love getting me into groups because of the buffs I can provide. (As well as the constant entertainment, because I actually enjoy the game as a game and not as a second job.)</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>While a Troub might not be as strong as say a ranger, they have other abilities which the other scout classes do not as they have what we do not...  best solution if you want those abilities...... play that class....  but all this whining and complaining is cluttering up what little useful info comes out of these forums.  Yes, I agree, there are a lot of things which are broken,  and do not work as intended or as we might wish...  but, things are as always a work in progress....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#66ff00>Again, I don't see THAT MUCH complaining about our class. Want to see complaints, go hit up the templar or guardian boards. THOSE FOLKS are complaining.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Novel idea for the solo or group challenged....</DIV> <DIV>If you cannot solo, there is a bank of hotbar buttons....  try using them, you would be amazed how much better you can solo....  in a group or raid....  same thing...  try learning the class....  There is a reason why there are heroic mobs and none heroic 1,2,3 arrow up mobs and arrow down mobs.... </DIV> <P><FONT color=#66ff00>Here's a novel concept for you...</FONT></P> <P><FONT color=#66ff00>Please don't come to a mostly peaceful board and act like a condescending, know-it-all. Thanks.</FONT></P> <P><BR></P> <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE><BR></DIV> <DIV>I generally lurk on this board (I know, that's seemingly impossible considering my post count), but this board is far less negative than many of the other class boards. I don't know what inspired your post... but it seems ill-informed and downright off-key.</DIV>
