I think I might be doing something wrong, or I might not understand the proper use of this spell. I try to use it all the time (in combat, of course :smileytongue: ), and EVERY thing I try to use it against resists it. NOTHING seems to be effected by this spell.

Can anyone tell me a creature that doesn't resist this spell? Or maybe what I might or might not be doing wrong? I am considering taking it off my hotbar at this point...

I have the master of this and it works fine.

My max damage with it is around 80 damager per npc in the encounter, but i cant ever remeber getting resisted even with the adept 1. I use it mainly as an interupt on npc's casting.

Another reason it could be resisting is int. Is your int low i.e. below 100 if so will greatly effect your casting ability. Dont forget that agi is not just our main stat, troubs get int as back up for power.

Message Edited by windsend on 08-07-2005 05:19 PM

This spell works off your subjugation skills. Very few ablities currently use this (charm, bellow, mez). Once you get the skill raised you will find that it lands a lot more. Ridian McNight 50 Troubador Enmity Najena

It'll be your subjugation. Before this, the only spell that used it was charm, so it's likely you'll need to work on your skill and get it up before you see it start to land.

Umm ya duh. What the last 2 said. Skill level plays a much bigger part then Int amount. Sorry hehe but int does help with casting ability not sure if thats fizzles and resists or just fizzles or just resists. I dont know but i totally spaced skill level lol. I would check that first, THEN work on the int.

Greetings,

The debuff from Bloodlines also uses the Subj skill, and is great for spamming in combat to get skill points. Does take one Conc though, so make sure to do it when you're up against easy critters. Helped me get my skill from horrible to useable in just a few hours.

Yeah, I am thinking it is my heinously low subjucation skill. I am 130/230 right now... which could explain why it doesn't work.

Thanks for the input so far. :smileyhappy:
