<DIV>I know it's only a fun spell, but it stinks that this only works on one person.  I mean, we got to make an entire party of Orcs dance just to become a full Troubador... Can't we make our whole party dance when we defeat a hard group or something?  Does it make sense to play a song for just one person in the group?  No; we're Troubadors!  We want everyone to make merry and dance, not one person at a time!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But by all means, please fix the cascade of far more important issues before you fix this.</DIV>

Make it a group dance -- that way I can pi$$ more people off. It's bad enough the newbies that I cast it on thinks that it affects their hitting and spell casting (which it doesn't), now -- If it's a group spell -- the whole group will whine. How bout this instead of making it a group spell. FIX THE DANCE ANIMATION!!!!1111one <div></div>

<P>or give us a group version at level 30.</P>

Group at 30... best suggestion yet.  We have nothing at the moment, and it's a natural progression.  Unfortunately, all the other classes that get nothing at 30 would gripe.  Still, good idea.

What I would like to see is a fun spell (or a line of them) that when used makes your avatar play an instrument.  IE do the animation that you get when you play a song (say the lute) with a few notes, that come out like casting a spell but not as much so you can still tell the diff.  Alshave it on a toggle so that you keep playing until you cast another spell or toggle it again.  Or something along those line. I miss my glide... (for those who don't know what this was.. it was old eq1 before they changed it there too...) Ridian McNight 50 Troubador Enmity Najena <div></div>

<DIV>I specifically want Rousing Celebration <STRONG><FONT color=#cc0033>NOT</FONT></STRONG> to be made into a full-group spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>First, it'd look like Riverdance and I hated that IRL enough not to inflict it on myself, or anyone else, in game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Second, I want the fighter who just insulted Troubadors to know that it's HIM who's being targeted to dance.  Or the warlock (before he turns into vermin just to avoid it) etc etc.  I mean what good is it when you're insulted, say "DANCE, [Removed for Content]!" and everyone dances?!  You want specificity in a case like that.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, a group version at level 30 would be interesting so long as we kept the single at 20 - but of course you do realise that Knights would want a Summon Herd fluff at 30, and everyone else will want in on the action...</DIV>

<DIV>See, I think a Coercer should by the type to say "DANCE [Removed for Content]" and then force someone to dance... oh wait, they got the same ability as we do.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Troubadors are more like "WOO, we won!  Rock on!" and the group dances because our music is sooo awesome.  (Yeah, I made my Troubador look like a rockstar)  It's supposed to be a fun spell, not a domination/anger spell.  Leave that for the coercers.</DIV>

<P>Jehannum and Herbnosis good points. So it now hard to choose.</P> <P>But i agree i would be more inclined to the Celebration spirit. So i would appreciate a group effect.</P> <P>But please, first of all : Gave us music with the dance and a new animation.</P> <P>As we play with my wife i discovered the "bouncing stars" i see when i cast it on someone is not seen by spectators or victim. This is a pity. And i still dont understand why... (Not a gfx issue, be confident in this).</P>
