<DIV>A question only a sub-30 Troubador could ask...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Vhalen's and Rousing Tune share a timer. That makes sense because Vhalen's is the level 20 training upgrade option to Rousing Tune. If you choose some other upgrade, you give up about 6 str/agi/sta.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Raxxl's and Niv's do not share a timer? Niv's is the level 30 training upgrade option to Raxxl's. If you choose some other upgrade, you give up over 30 str/agi/sta.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That seems inconsistent. Given that, who would choose any level 30 upgrade besides Niv's?</DIV>

<DIV>Belious' Triple Strike (at 30) is in some respects superior to Elegant Blade (gained at 39).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It does more damage (when the third strike hits), hits with almost identical frequency and while its reduction of "mental mitigation" is lower I've never, ever seen the slightest difference in the damage done by, erm, forget its name but it's the bellow that always deals the same damage anyhow. Deals identical damage whether the mob's "mental mitigation" is untouched, or debuffed by either 400-600 or 700-1000 points. Or perhaps level 38 mobs don't have any mental mitigation, which makes me wonder why the damage I deal is less than what the song lists... (usually 173 on orc toilers as opposed to 200-and-something listed on the song examination)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And when playing Rousing/Raxxyl/Raxxyl plus Minstrel's Fortune the benefit from the training stat songs, while it might be nice, isn't quite as important.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't intend to /respec and pick the stat buff at 30 until either Elegant Blade improves a little or I find an Adept. Perhaps by that time I'll see more benefit in one of the other two anyhow, who knows? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

I had Niv's originally. I respec'd and took Triple Strike. After the AGI and STR nerfs, the benefits of Niv's are much less significant and triple strike is a very nice attack. <div></div>

Neither is a "wrong" answer. It's about personal preference. I solo a lot so I preferred an improved attack over an improved buff. <div></div>
