I at first thought he/she was talking about Heroic Opportunity switching.... but now re-reading it, I'm not sure o.O

The OP is talking about HO switching through Coin skills and I agree. Some buffs rate as coin skill so should I rebuff in fight with a long casting timer to flip the wheel? Our ability is limited here.

<DIV>Coin skills? I'm not following... luckily I speak French! I'm interested to know what he was referring to.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sethis, si c'est plus facile, expliquer ca en français. :smileyhappy: Peut-être que je peux t'aider avec la traduction. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Well, I understand and speak it much better than I write it :smileytongue:</DIV><p>Message Edited by Caali on <span class=date_text>03-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:58 PM</span>

<DIV>Ok got it :smileyhappy: Here it is with my own additions to explain the situation... When we hit HOs we only have three skills that allow us to advance the HOs (low level stun, low level evade and defense debuff line). And when we're in the midst of an HO often a buff that needs concentration flashes, i.e. Bria's. That makes it hard to complete and switch HOs in raid especially since these skills are consistently used and are often greyed out.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hope that is what you meant Sethis. If not let me know. There is some french EQ slang in there I'm not 100% sure about, but I think I got the gist.</DIV> <P>Message Edited by Caali on <SPAN class=date_text>03-02-2005</SPAN> <SPAN class=time_text>08:53 AM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by Caali on <span class=date_text>03-02-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:54 AM</span>

<DIV>I use AC debuff on INC so that is 1 coin.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Evade is usually not needed because troub DPS sucks... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cheap Shot is handy... but not extremely.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So usually I have cheapshot and evade handy... and I only have to cast my AC debuff once at the beginning of the fight and then I use it to complete HOs which keeps the debuff "fresh"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't really have issues with lack of coin skills.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What I do have an issue with is being in the middle of SNEAK, ELI's, or Pierceing Shrill which all have long casting times... and the stupid HO wheel comes up and I have 3 choices... </DIV> <DIV>1.) wait for half the HO to halfway expire before flipping it....</DIV> <DIV>2.) crouch to cancel my spell and therefore dump DPS in the hopes that the DPS from the HO will be worth it...</DIV> <DIV>3.) let them complete the HO wheel that is the "bad" one.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>P.S. Why did they name all this stuff so bad?  How am I supposed to know which fighter HO is going to be an AE?  On the fighters bar the icons are different colors so he knows on his "skills" and then he just has to memorize his HOs... I have to memorize ALL the HOs... This is not cool.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I firmly believe the color for the HO wheel should change</DIV> <DIV>Debuff - ?</DIV> <DIV>Buff - ?</DIV> <DIV>Single Attack - ?</DIV> <DIV>AE Attack - ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Pick your colors... I don't care... prefereably make them match the spell icons in our hot bars.... but i am sure you see where I am coming from on this... it's irritating to know what "Ardent Challenge" is... I know alot of them now... but I shouldn't have to know them.. and new people to the game shouldn't either.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I am going to say no, no more coins for you, if you wanted to be more rogue, you should have been a Dirge, not a troub. Ignorant and agrogant, yes, but I don't come and ask for troub abilities. We have two extra abilities to flip HO's you do not.Tarven's Bedeviled Undersong Verlien's Enigmatic Falsetto Both are fast cast weak [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] debuff/dd/interupt

<DIV>No one was asking anything like that. He was asking for skills to advance HOs that weren't buffs. No reference to Dirges in there anywhere. There was no comparaison to a Dirge or any other class  in the original post or any of the others, no call to nerf Dirges or to copy their skills .The OP was just an trying to solve an issue with his troubadour. If you have more possbilities to advance HOs that aren't conc buffs (cause we already have equivalents to the ones you posted) good for you. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I will give you a vivd imagination to find the connection there, but with that you get a thumbs up for paranoia too... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Edit - In any case, I'm finished with this. If you have something constructive to add I'd love to hear it, otherwise have fun.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Caali on <span class=date_text>03-04-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:50 PM</span>
