Best Armor for Troubadors...

<DIV>Currently I'm a level 26 Troub on Mistmoore. I'm wearing the full AQ armor, but have begun to wonder what I will wear once all that armor is too low for me. So, what kind of armor is best for us when we've outgrown the AQ stuff?</DIV>

Your AQ gear should last you until 30 or even a bit past (Maybe less if you solo or tank for groups a lot, maybe longer if you are always in groups and do a good job of staying out of harm's way).When you get close to 30 its time to start upgrading. Some pieces (like hands and bracers) will go grey before others (chest and legs). You probably want to focus on those first.Generally, quest items and drops are slightly better than feyiron crafted gear but don't scale as well. A quest BP from Zek or leggings from Runnyeye will likely be better at say level 34 than feyiron crafted, but will stop growing at say level 36, while pristine crafted gear will keep growing until 40. So a good strategy is to start doing some quests and buy the pieces you can't find. As you age and your quested gear starts turning white to blue in your mid/late 30's upgrade it to feyiron or new quest items.Crafted feysteel is very nice, but since it comes from rare resources it will probably cost you ~30g per piece. Dropped feysteel is not nearly as nice but can compare favorably to crafted feyiron for a short level range.

<DIV>I used a full set of steel forged and then steel brigandine armor until I finished AQ6.  Now I use full trade link with the tri-spindle helm and DWB.  I have a full set of feysteel brigandine for as soon as I can wear it all.  I like it to the most out of the 30+ armor sets.</DIV>
