Stealth attacks?

Easiest way is to set a macro button to do the 3 commands for you, so it's just 1 button press. Make sure you use "Sneak" for it. The Mala's line doesn't seem to work during combat, but Sneak still does. Using Clara's Midnight Cadence I have had numerous 500+ stealth hits during combat, my highest being 590 so far.

If you mean consistant as in being close to the same damage each time I attack, then no. I range from 150-500+ damage. Only seen it resisted a few times so it continues to be part fo my arsenal.

<DIV>My adept back attack (Taffo's Dazzling Ditty) does more damage than my master stealth attack (Clara's Midnight Cadence) or my adept stealth attack (Startling Shreak), rather them fixed than removed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Of course Clara's is a lower lvl ability, but still both of those should be doing much more damage to compensate from the damage loss by turning off attack and hitting sneak.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

For some reason, it kicks me out of stealth, and makes me draw my weapons as soon as the regen ticks after anyone in my group picks a fight. Having Bria's up also draws me a whole heap of aggro on the pull, if the tank uses a ranged attack to reel mobs in (Mobs all have me targeted on the run in, although a single taunt from the tank sets things straight.) For now, I drop Bria's right before the tank pulls, and throw it up again after he's had a chance to get aggro solid. I have not had aggro problems doing things this way.

from time to time i use the last art in the stealth attack line, just to see if i can ever hit the mob for the max damage described in the spell <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (reached ~750 so far ^^)with higher mobs it's almost useless to even try getting stealthed in combat. the lvl 3 stealth breaks in most cases before the stealthed attack is casted.i think bards are way to melee orientated in eq2. selfbuffs with procs that need melee attacks, stealth attacks, high dmg flanking attacks... this should be the domain of classical melees like rogues.

Funny how we get stealth based attacks but are so crappy. The damage range is so huge it is not worth it.Plus we don't have any kind of quick stealth moves, unlike Predator's 1.0 sec stealth.Now that backstab moves are linked too, our dps are pretty poor for the most part. But the good thing is,we are still probably one of the top buffers that boosts entire's party usefulness and dps.
