<DIV>At lvl 36 I hang up my lute and will no longer be playing my troubador due to this patch, it was an enjoyable class, now we can't solo what are ments to be solo encounters, ive watched other classes 5 lvls lower than me kill things that i no longer can and our buffs are a waste for groups, unless something gets fixed I'll not be playing this char again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the problem this was meant to fix was stacking buffs giving too much agi and so too much parry/avoidance. the answer to the prob was right there. Stop certain spells stacking!!!! but no instead SOE in its typically bollox wisdom decided to make stats obsolete and all mobs harder so those without tons of hps and dps, namely us, can no longer solo the solo content.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nice one SOE appreciate u [FaarNerfed!]ing up my char and making it unplayable.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Araknar</DIV> <DIV>ex 36 troubador</DIV>
<DIV>agree with the OP</DIV>

What solo mobs are you speaking about? Out of pure curiosity.

this is what we get when we have whiners on the forum whining about bard buffing AGI being godlike and stuff while it isn't, and they had no knowledge of how troubadors work when they whined. the AGI buffs wasn't godly, it helps but definately not invincible.my usual group doesn't get benefit from me anymore (41 troubador) because of these senseless nerf - decreasing the bonus effect of having high AGI at the same time UPPING the stats of all mobs across lvl 30 to lvl 40+, that's double nerf.thank you whiners, let see how you will fair without the effects of agi bonus on your group's tank when you hit the upper levels.Vermillion, 41 troubador of Antonia Bayle

Those extremely high agility numbers only happen when you can stack 6 agility affects. <DIV>I tested about an hour of soloing tonight in lavastorm with my level 42 troubador. This is not that bad. Yes, I'm getting hit sometimes unlike in the past I dodged everything. I even tested out other combinations of buffs to do, and stacking all 4 stats songs is still the best way to go because of the HP.</DIV>

Oh really?Ok let's sum it up... Before patch my monk friend and me did duo certain mobs in Zek.After the patch a group out of monk, troub, dirge, fury, shadowknight got their [Removed for Content] handed in with ease.Go figure. That's not "not so bad" it's a joke.

<DIV>I dont think I will ever be able to give SOE the benefit of the doubt, in reguards to patches, ever again. I am seeing people stating Troubs had the ability to buff the groups agi +400, I am seeing people still crying nerf against the troub. I am seeing things being said towards the class that cannot possibly be achieved without a fury assistance. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yesterdays patch was made due to mob mentality. FFS you might actually take a look at how a class is played before you pummel them with that nerf stick.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Where my question sits now, is why should I play a troub? Why should I even be a scout? What do I offer the group? Let me give the ignorant a run down of what I now have to offer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Haste: Fine for pure melee, does not affect speed at which combat arts refresh or use.</DIV> <DIV>Mana: The amount is lower than that of a T5 drink. Plus I did the mana battery act for 5 years in EQ1, I think I will pass on it this time around.</DIV> <DIV>AC Debuff: whoopty freakin doo. Let me call the press on that one.</DIV> <DIV>Mez: Level 50 the Troub aquires this skill.</DIV> <DIV>HP Regen: laughable regen. </DIV> <DIV>Charm: works sometimes, wonder how I will manage when that charm breaks.....</DIV> <DIV>Chorus Lines: Resistance towards spells and the like. These do not allow you to resist more, it allows you to mitigate the damage "better". So that mobs nuke that once did 600 dmg, now it will do 575. So on and so forth.</DIV> <DIV>DPS: yeah, hrm, I have been witness to guardians doing more damage than me with their CA's.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do agree with the fact that Scouts in general should not be able to out tank the tank classes. Getting clowned by a deer in Zek 10 levels lower than me, is just stupid. I am not [Removed for Content] geared, not the best, but not [Removed for Content]. I should not get owned by solo mobs in Everfrost. I do agree the +agility stackability is rather weak. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Take it for what it is. I doubt I will be playing much longer if this stays in tact. Reliance on Guardian + Templar is just lame. We all should be those classes in this instance, then there would never be the question of class balancing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Next time do proper testing. You have a test server you had this implimented on for under 24 hours. Bet SOE got some really good information from that since you are trying to /movelog people from AB to test. Yeah, the roleplay players really want to play on an even more broken server.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Before you start swinging around balancing sticks, fix the issues that are already known and have been sent as feedbacks. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I dont want to resort to soloing Glacier Bears in Everfrost for 4 more levels just with hopes a group will pick me up for mez. I dont even like soloing, did enough of that in eq1. </DIV> <DIV>~fina</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

It is definatly AGI as a whole. I have yet to try my troub, but my monk is getting hit by grey mobs now. Short of caster mobs, anything grey could never touch me before.I know many people, myself included, only went troub over dirge because of the agi buffs. Hell if you look at the monk forum, most of our alts are troubs because we have seen what they can do. Based on the reactions of many on this forum I am almost afraid to play my troub.
