<DIV>With high intel and agility it may make sense.  Anyone test this out?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV>

<DIV>31 Gnome Troubador here.  I've got plenty of power and nice starting AGI.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's nice being rare, I think I'm one of the only ones on Neriak.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With AGI being the dealbreaker at higher levels, take all you can get with the gnome!</DIV>

<DIV>How do you think you compare to wood elves?  Does the intel increase your bard spells over others?</DIV>

38 Gnome Troub here. We are definitely a rare breed...and I like it that way. =) Racial starting stats don't matter nearly as much in eq2 as they did in eq. Don't worry about comparing yourself to one race or another. If you like the idea of a gnome troubador, by all means go for it. Pick a race/class combo that you think will be FUN and the rest of the details will fall into place. =)

My gnome Troubadour (lvl 26) kicks peoples butt. I keep being doubted in terms of my ability to take aggro but time after time i prove people wrong in a group. and only yesterday when i monk a level lower than me was getting slaughtered i took over being tank and handling the aggro.. i love me gnome troub he is so much fun to play. except i must complain i tried to solo a green (lvl22) enraged scarecrow in TS, those new solo mob i barely escaped with my life but the skellies in the ruins (lvl24-27) i can destroy and walk away barely beaten... go figure

<DIV>I'm a 33 Gnome Troubador on Unrest. Personally I think we rock, at 33 I can hold around 40-45 DPS per fight when we take on yellows. Don't really have much of a problem getting groups, some times it may take 10-15 min to find one, but while im LFG I just go harvest in EL or Zek (depending on where I want to hunt that day)</DIV>

<DIV>I have a similar problem with yellow rot/crows.  I can solo yellow bears/wolfs/crabs... but crows.. my poor shard was lying in the corn field <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>
