Could anyone post the actual HP regen per tick of the level 30 Quiron's Joyous Celebration song? And please note wich version you're using (App1, App3, etc.), thanks!Pirv
level 30, app1, 16 hp/tick
Does this work in combat? or is this regen only out of combat? Thanks.

<DIV>oi, thats a real use for it! since you stay in combat that song really shines in that situation. although i have to admit, with my recent experiences with pickup groups even in the mid-20s most people playing this game are not even up to the task of following group chat let alone coordinating new tactics in hectic situations. Another use I see when you have a run through aggro mobs half of the zone..bria's for near-perma-sprint and this song will keep you alive nicely.</DIV>
It's only 2 concentration slots right?

<DIV>It's pretty worthless for 2 slots imho. But I think if master1 was doing around 50-75 then it would be great!</DIV>

<DIV>It's kind of nice when soloing groups of mobs. If I have this song on, I slowly start to compensate for the initial damag of 3 mobs beating on me after the first is dead.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>After all, it's free HPs.</DIV>

<DIV>sorry to disappoint you, but the health regen is completely worthless.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000>Why?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000></FONT> </DIV> <DIV>usually only the tank takes damage. So within a battle, your health song may heal 100, eventually 200 health points in a VERY long battle. Are u aware that this is <FONT color=#ffff66>nothing</FONT> at level 33?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A healer needs one spell to heal for like 300 to 600 health points.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That <FONT color=#ff9933>good for nothing</FONT> song takes 2 of your concentration slots!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just use a <FONT color=#33cc00>sta buff </FONT>(you got at least 2 of them) and people will have more health right from the start! More than 100 extra health right from the start! For just 1 slot of concentration.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I really wonder what some of the developers are thinking.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone doing the maths will figure this spell is useless. (song)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Just a question from a Dirge....Is this song percentage based or just a set health tic per sec depending on the version of it and your lvl. If its percentage based then yeah it may not be that bad when you hit 50 and tanks have like 7k-8k hp. Also are you guys looking at this song once it turns white/blue/green. Song effects go up in value as you lvl. for example if this song is orange to you, you're not getting its full benefit. The best thing to actually see how well this song really is is for a troubador to have a Master version of it and have outlvled the song until it's at least white/blue to them. Check how much per tick you get then on the Main tank and hopefully he has lots of HP by that time, then come back and post about the song's effectiveness. Until then you guys really don't have enough accurate information to dismiss the song yet. It may be that the song is percentage based and the more health you have the more you tick back. so at say 4k hp which is what bards usually cap at near 50 the song may tic for quite a bit more because of the hp difference, the song's lvl and whether or not your have a master version of it. Just my 2 coppers worth.

<DIV>It's 2 conc. slots... and the tick is not based on your hp, as everyone in the group gets the same tick. Even with a very optimistic outlook of 100% more for a master 1, you're still only talking 50-60hp tick which is nothing compared to the dmg that mobs are putting out. That's with the spell pretty much capped out.</DIV>

<DIV>I tested this hunting with a lvl 32 guardian in the Enchanted Lands. It was just the two of us working together, taking down solo mobs for quests. At first I was using haste, but I tried dropping it and replacing it with the health regen. The loss of haste didn't matter much as we were going through the mobs quickly anyway, and with both power and health regen buffs we suffered no downtime. In this respect it was quite useful. I struggle to see it's purpose in a group with a healer, though, and can't imagine it would be worth 2 con against group mobs. It would be more reasonable at 1 con, but still there are other things I'd rather use that for.</DIV>

30 hps, adept1, lvl 42.I always use it when i travel along the zone without caring about agro.Stack it with resist songs and you are pretty safe even with huge trains on your back (just dont attack not to loose pathfinding bonus).Came really handy while doing jboot ferrott run with some guildmates.

<DIV>I use this song for a couple of situations. I find it useful in two-bard groups. When I don't have to keep the more important songs up, I will keep this one going and it is useful in groups over time. The healer doesn't have to spot heal here and there for the aggro challenged players. I also use it soloing or duoing. The downtime is next to nil when using this song depending on the level characters we are fighting.</DIV>

Very useful with a lot of caster types eating their own HP to mana.I usually don't use it unless there are 2 bard types though... or there is an AOE mob type (casters etc.) that we are fighting a lot of.-T
I get 24 at adept I at level 33.Only time I have found to use it so far is ocassionally when running away.

Ok people didn't seem to take note of what I said. I read thru this thread again and I'm seeing different numbers posted by different people at different lvls all having the same adept1 for this spell. Now the question remains, "Is that because of the song's lvl(con) to them or is it because they have more hitpoints?" For example, CrazyMoe said at adept1 at lvl 30 he is only getting 22/tic.(I'm sure the song is orange to this him at lvl 30 and this is probably why he is getting a lower number on the tic). Then you have Aeiouy who also has the same adept1 version but who is 3 lvls higher at lvl 33 and getting 24/tic.( I'm sure the song is orange or yellow to him as well and why he also has a low tic). Notice that as the song's con changes the potencecy of it goes up. Now onto the the area I'm unsure about. Now let's introduce Greasy101 at lvl 37 he also has the same adept1 version but is getting 25/tic. Kinda wierd that Aeiouy who is 3 lvls higher than Crazy Moe got a 2 point increase in song effeciency while Greasy101 who is 4 lvls higher than Aeiouy only got a 1 point increase in tic rate. Now let's introduce Dionisio who is lvl 42 and also has the same adept1 version. He is getting 30/tic. He is 5 lvls ahead of Greasy101 yet continued to get a 5 point point increase in effeciency. I'm pretty sure that the song is defintely white or long since blue or even green to this guy. So it begs the question, "why did Dionisio get a 5 point jump for being just 5 lvls ahead of Greasy101 when greasy101 didn't get but a 1 point jump for being 4 lvls ahead of Aeiouy?" could it be that the song is being affected by the amount of hp he has? There's an easy way to test this. Have someone to whom this song has become trivial test it(as in the song is either grey or green to them). Have them take off ALL hp increasing things like songs/gear/buffs/etc basically anything that will increase HP take it off. Now that their health pool is lower than nomal play the song and take note of the tic on it. Now put back on all HP items, songs, buffs heck even get some friends like shaman's to buff your stam up there and hp too. Grab a priest or whatever. The point is to get as much HP now as you can. Now test the song again. If the tic rate is different then the song is % based and may not be too bad on a fully buffed tank at 50 who has tons of HP. If that is the case then yes if you managed to grab a master version of this song it may just rock at 50 in a fully buffed group with good HP pools.
