Luck Blade waste of time ?

i got my luck blade last night. but on trying to use i was told i need be in sneak . but i was in walk lightly but this is not sneak and it would not work .seems a lvl 21 attack can only be used with sneak a lvl 5 spell. as a lot of you will know any high lvl creatures can see through sneak at lvl 21 it a waste of time trying to use it. so come on derv let us use it with walk lightly other wise luck blade is a waste of space.also i did use luckblade in a grp but it would only let me use it onece this could be due to combat breaking sneak so again it a waste of time

You can use it in Walk Lightly...its a good skill to open with while solo'ing if you have adept 1, its just an upgrade to your old backstab.Theres a way to break combat in a group, I forgot how, but yeah its not the most usefull skill in a group.

it's not a waste of time at all..in fact it's a great ability in groups if used properly. hit sneak (or walk lightly)..use luck blade...when it refreshes...hit sneak again (while still in melee)...when the yellow song loading bar is almost at the end...hit 2 (or whatever your hotkey for melee is) to take off attack...and you will sneak ..then use luckblade again...rinse and repeat and it adds up to a lot of damage. it takes a little practice to get the timing down, but it rocks once you've got it. you lose very little melee time while using this method. =) hope this helps!Cantante<p>Message Edited by KeyserHecubus on <span class=date_text>12-07-2004</span> <span class=time_text>01:13 AM</span>

not quite sure what you just said....but if you're worried about combat breaking walk lightly or sneak....that's the point...you don't have to "break" it until the last second. you turn combat off at the last second when sneak/walk lightly is still loading in the song bar then you land your luck blade.

I always use it as an opening move before the tank pulls the mob or when soloing. It is a great attack, and i've hit for well over 200 with it at level 22. You cant walk lightly after combat has started, so it is an opening move only.

I have had some random hits with it also, but it consistantly out damages my other melee attacks. I had an Adept 1 before i even got the ability, so i am not sure of the damage at the apprentice levels.
