Troubador and Dirge I'd say are effectively the same, save for the songs. Troubadors play songs that .. i guess overall 'buff' the party. Dirge play songs that 'debuff' and do more damage (i'd imagine). So if you want to play defensively, be a troubador.. Offensively, play a Dirge.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3. I'm nearly 21 and I've not noticed anyone particularly interested in a Troubador or Dirge, even a bard for that example.. Most even do without scout classes, choosing melee and caster, with healers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>5. <DIV>To answer #3 best i think i can. Yes we cast buffs then melee. But becarefull not to cast certain buffs while fighting or you will catch aggro and will take multiple tuants and even a rescue to pull it off. This of course refering to the Arcane chorus. Evil spell , its liek a AoE tuant. Hope that helps.</DIV>

<DIV>Aye I found that web site, and its a good listing of all the spells and abilities we get, but what it does not tell me is what the upgrade for each spell or ability is.  For instance, I am trying to find an upgrade to the HO chain starter ability we get at level 4 - Lucky Break.  I found an Adept I version but the skill listed for this is Dirges and the description doesnt match what I have for my HO chain starter.  I dont have Dirges on my list of skills, which makes sense as I am not a Dirge.  <STRONG><U>Does anyone know if we can upgrade this skill?</U></STRONG>  Presently it is grey for me (I am lvl 21) and I find that I am able to complete an HO only about 25% of the time, even  when soloing.  There must be a better way to do this.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>:womanvery-happy:</DIV>
