i'm 58 now and from what i understand double up will reuse your last two combat arts

now i was wondering which combo would be best to reuse. i was thinking which combo would be best so which two combat arts would you use just before using double up. i think one should be at least dispatch still wondering which other would be nice. and also i have the spell now as adept III what is difference between that and master ?

I think you can get 3 off... I normally go dispatch, devitalize, ruinous rake, double up... Is it only 2?

It is the last 2 seconds of CA's which is usually 2 attacks but if you went with sailwind you can get 3 easy.

I also use dispatch/debilitate...it usually takes off 1/2 to 3/4 of the mobs' hp(non heroic) and almost half on most heroics.

I also use double up with our aoe when fighting multiple opponents

Raiding - devitialise / dispatch / rake when raiding, gives you an extra 2 seconds (from 13 to 15) on dispatch and also a double hit and 2 extra seconds on the debuff.Group tanking - Underground negoiation / vault - make sure you keep hate.Group non-tanking - murderous / rake / double up / elude.

I use malicious assult and that big crush attack. Name escapes me atm.

That reason I use these 2 is I only have double up adept3. I have devitalize master 1 and ruinous rake master 2. If I were to double up these abilities I would be debuffing LESS then if I didn't because it would only debuff at adept3. I tested doubling up devitalize and the debuffs don't stack if you double it up, you're overwriting the original debuff amount. Test it in pvp and you'll see what I mean.

using ruinous rake + dispatch with double up (perhaps devitalize too, but that depends on the lag of the zone or if i have a bard in my grp for faster casting)after this just hideaway + skewer

When faster casting is going: Devitilize - Dispatch - Restrain - Double Up

When not faster casting: Dispatch - Restrain - Double Up

When fighting large groups: Underground Negotiations - Restrain - Double Up (I don't use a positional with Negotiations, because of the cast times, to make sure I get 2 CAs in.)

If there is no lag, I always attempt to get the 3 to go anyway, just changing the order. Sometimes it makes it, sometimes it don't. I always make sure Dispatch is in the last 2 when possible. To each their own. We raid with 3 Brigs most nights, so the typical M1 debuffs are up full time without worry. I can base more on damage.

Message Edited by Kegofbud on 10-18-2006 07:45 AM

Malicious Assault + Restrain + Double Up for me. I don't want to overwrite M1 debuffs with an Ad3 Double Up. If I'm on a raid where I'm taking agro more often than normal (bad AE mob or something) I'll do Hideaway + Elude + Double Up for major de-agro. Makes a big difference since everyone else is already pretty low on the hate list.**hates when lag causes Double Up not to fire off at the right time or a second too late**

I usually wait to use hideaway for if I get aggro, which isn't very often. Coercer deaggro is your friend, it can be cast across raid and with it I can go in a high dps/haste group and not get aggro going full tilt. I don't think I've pulled aggro once in the last 2 raids I was in going full tilt.
Message Edited by mikemcmodmike on 10-20-2006 10:48 AM

(yes both of them) in offensive using hideaway evade whenever i can.. usually parse 1.2 ish K ... weird.. seem to steal aggro when i double up ... otherwise i don't.. (hence i gotta lower the double up use a tad)

I'm not too keen on procs that require positioning. I figured the extra avoidance granted by 4 points of aa was worth the sacrafice from avast ye. ESP during my normal groupage.

I guess it's to whatever playstyle you are fond of, but I loved Avast 'Ye when I was using AGI. That proc, once it was fixed, was great. Sure it's positional, but we should be behind the mob most of the time anyway. I wouldn't discount it for only the positonal aspect is all I'm saying. That is what makes the AA interesting though, the ability for everyone to make their own decision about what makes them unique.
