there was a thread somewhere that i jumped in, over in the non-game related forum of the boards... someone was trying to say that v was a dirge.definitely a brigand. i argued it. i think i won. or the rest of them just gave up.cuz they were dead. /grin<div></div>

Personally I think he looks [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn].  He's not a back alley brawler like my brigand is.  My brigand is a dirty mean thug you don't wanna cross and not some pretty boy with long hair.  Think Gangs of New York.

We just hit people over the back of the head and nick their puse.</p><hr></blockquote>a swashbuckler would have avoided the blame for their actions. he not only made no move to avoid the blame, he took full responsibilty and was proud of it. he was engaging in resistance against a government, i.e. he was a criminal. not all brigands live under the overlord. they are, after all, thugs... thugs work outside the laws.v was fighting not for good, but because he wanted revenge. sure, his purpose was good for the people, but he killed out of revenge, and was only fighting against them because of what they had done to them. there's nothing that says a brigand won't fight for good. the question is, what are they paying? for v, revenge was his payment, and he got what he was going for using underhanded tactics and turning his enemies against each other, the way any good rogue would. he was by no means a flashy, good-hearted individual. he was a cruel and clever terrorist looking for revenge, which he got via subterfuge and acts of incredible violence and destruction. he snuck into an old woman's house and poisoned her while she slept. was she a threat to his usurping the government? no. was the woman evil? no. so why? revenge. heck, he tortured natalie portman. what kind of swashbuckler is that?now look at his fighting style... i can name pretty much all of those moves from the brigand skill list...brigand.</div>
