<div></div><div></div><div></div>My guild loved me when I hit the end of the STR line, reduce recast timers by 50%, Tramatic Swipe.  This is a HUGE raid bonus, especially for AE encounters and was the first thing that I headed to.  Being a T2 dps, Im see myself there as being a utility to debuff for the T1 guys to do their stuff.  A well played Brig can mean the difference between a raid working and not working, thats why Ive gone done STR first.  Although, I would like some more AAs <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Poisons, depending.  Ive got a stack of Grandmasters Mental Breach, oh boy, I need that on some of the named epics.  Your procing caustic poison isnt going to make a huge difference but compared to you running oop, I stick with that on named, usually the end of zone guy.Grandmasters Warblng ebb,  wis / magicaly debuff  - sometimes Ignorant Bliss depending on the dps required, fast or slow.Grandmasters Essence of turgur - again, a debuff, useful in a raid. Reduce attack speed 24%.  Not sure if it stacks with shrouded blade but it sure helps.Thats the way I play my brig, others may not agree but thats the game <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Ediited - STR also offers a reduce crit chances on target of 6.2% maxed (I think) - that helps the tanks.<div></div><p>Message Edited by FuzzBall on <span class=date_text>09-01-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:01 AM</span>

Both leggings and gloves are pretty easily attainable as early raid drops. This is some great information!  I'm also an up and coming Brigand (just hit 66) and have been wondering what I need to focus on.  I've linked to EQ2Players and my character below.  If anyone sees anything glaring I'd appreciate the advice!http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=363060111Thanks guys!<div></div>

<DIV>Only thing that's glaring there is the Azurite, Acryllia is very cheap (at least on my server) and has a large boost in stats over azurite. Keep FBSS, replace the Azurite with Acryllia except the neck, go for MoA with the neck (quest starts from a Droag on dreadnever isle in bonemire, you can't equip it until 70 but it's never too early to start that quest) and work on the claymores for some of that awesome gear they start giving once you get into PoA. Getting the claymores done while you level is a really good idea, because if you don't you have to waste a lot of xp and AA that they give which is what I did unfortunately :/.  Also, start working on Deathtoll access if you havn't, get it to the raid part at least. Deathtoll access gives you the best Brigand bracelet there is, you can wear it with the one from claymores that has +30 to ALL stats and +7 defense.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for weapons, if you're planning on sticking with DW I suggest you try to get Dirk of Negativity and Grinning Dirk of Horror. They are uncommon/rare drops on the first nameds in HoS/Lyceum (well, shadowy might be 2nd depending on how you pull). DWing is a very viable option as long as you max out Avast Ye and Blackguard's Luck. A more immediate upgrade though, would be to replace Koturah's Fang with Grizzfazzle's Dirk, as Grizzfazzle's has a higher DR if I remember correctly.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Again, shoot for all adept 3/master 1 and use mastercrafted poisons during raids, I use handcrafted when grouping because I do so much DPS that most of the stuff (other than Nizara) is dead before my poison starts giving me any signifigant dps boost. Another good idea is using stat potions, until you are STR capped that +50 STR is really great, and they're cheap as hell because you can just use handcrafted for the same effect as mastercrafted. Once you statcap you could switch to critical hit potions.</DIV>

<P>Thanks for all the great info Forum Pirate.  I do have a question for you though.  I was under the impression that AGI is not nearly as useful as Str and INT to a briggy, because in theory we shuoldbe be getting hit in battle, and although it's nice to have a big power pool to pull from, the mental breach usually takes care of that.  Can you explain to me why I'd want a higher Agi?</P> <P> </P> <P>Thanks again<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

<DIV>AGI increases a scout's power pool which is absolutley essential for some of the longer fights. As far as INT goes, I find it only marginally more useful than AGI, on my lab parse tonight poisons and procs accounted for only 8% of my DPS on Vyemm, and I topped the parse, compared to 35% pure slashing and 47% from combat arts. Compared to the CAs I wouldn't have been able to use without the large mana pool I had from capped out AGI I think it is a reasonable tradeoff. The AGI allows for more DPS in the longrun because it allows you to use a damage poison rather than mental breach.</DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by The-Fourm-Pirate on <span class=date_text>09-01-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:37 PM</span>
